Hospital plans to release a written health update within coming hours. There is also optimism that Damar Hamlin will be deemed well enough to be released from Buffalo General within 24 to 48 hours.
How amazing is it that, after Hamlin’s death, the Bills managed to find a stand-in who was capable of playing safety in the NFL?
In all seriousness, I’m happy but not surprised he was cleared to play. What happened to him was incredibly scary, but also a freak occurrence that is unlikely to occur again. As long as he’s fully recovered, no reason he shouldn’t return to his job

I have him in a dynasty league and while he started the year as a backup he became a started in week 4 and he was the #7 scoring DB in my IDP league weeks 4-16. He was a stud.
I will continue to hold him because he has a high ceiling and we can start up to 4 DB's in a 14 team league.
I am worried that he will be able to play well. I know that nfl players need to be mentally tough, but i just do not see any way possible that he can return from that and play at a high level.
I think you missed the joke. Ignatius was suggesting Hamlin really died, but the Bills found a guy off the street that is an NFL caliber player (and looks enough like Hamlin to make it believable). You know... A play on the conspiracy idiots.
Will be at Highmark with my number 3 jersey on. He played pretty well coming in as a backup two years ago. He still is the backup but getting the start due to other safeties hurt in the preseason.
The problems two years ago surfaced when HIS backup had to come in against Burrow and those weapons….yikes!
