Report: DE Rice signs with Rams
News: KTRS-AM reports that the Rams have agreed to terms on a contract with DE Simeon Rice. Rice was let go earlier this offseason by the Buccaneers.
Analysis: In St. Louis, Rice would work in a rotation at defensive end with James Hall and/or Leonard Little. This should add to the Rams' bottom line statistically. Figuring that their D-line is a strength along with their linebackers and Dante Hall returning kicks, St. Louis is now a sleeper DST worth a look in deeper drafts. Just remember: They play the 49ers, Cardinals and Seahawks twice each during the year, and none of those teams are inept offensively.
