Saints vs Seahawks - Week 3 (1 Viewer)

Did I hear that right from Phil Simms.

”...and we send it back to a wet Tracy Wolfson”

For folks watching, what is going on with Thomas? He’s usually a target hog and sitting on a goose egg.

Nice job by Teddy looking off the defense before throwing the screen to Kamara.

Oh and Kamara making defenders miss helped too.

Exactly the same scenario as the end of the Bears/Rams game where they gave them the timeout, but not for Seattle here.

Dammit, needed some points from Carson and/or Metcalf. Of course Prosise is on the field when they are inside the red zone, and it's Wilson with the TD on the keeper.

Prosise still in there getting carries, got the call on 3rd and didn't convert.

Carson in on 4th and 1. But the play was a deep shot go route to Malik Turner that was way overthrown and well defended.

Gamble failed.

Fantasy football blows sometimes just lost my game on the Russ Wilson TD pass with no time left after back to back penalties kept the game alive.

Sad thing is, from a football viewpoint, those 2 penalties were good defensive play.  Seattle down 2 scores with 15 seconds on the clock, needed to score fast to have time for an onside kick.  Saints' D held everybody, drew the flags, but burned two plays worth of clock, leaving the Seahawks with only 1 play to score 12 points.

At which point it didn't matter what they let Wilson do.  Tough for fantasy, but shrewd on the DC's part.
