Saints Wr's (1 Viewer)

I haven't been able to watch the Saints much this year, but I was wondering what everyone's thoughts were on who will be productive the rest of the way. Obviously with Colston looking good last week, Patten is back and Bush almost ready to return this week, there should be some changes to targets and overall production. Depth charts don't seem to tell much as they differ from site to site. The fact is, Lance Moore has led the Saints in targets in all but one game since week 4 when Patten went down. Even with Colston's big game last week, Moore was targeted 13 times compared to Colston's 11. Bush's return will almost definitely change this a bit, but how much? Will Lance continue to be a big factor in the passing game or will Patten resume his role now that he is healthy? I believe they do play in quite a bit of 3 wr sets, but will Henderson be used more there because he is a better deep threat?

The only two I trust are Colston & Moore but I haven't watched every Saints game.. Those are the two I like going forward the most..

Colston will be the most productive followed by Moore. Henderson is a bit of hit and miss depending on if he gets the big play or not. I like Billy Miller going forward more than Shockey and in the back field Bush is returning so he will get a good bit of the action. After what Lance has done there is no way he returns to a backup role, will Patten steal some touches? yes but he is not going to take over. Hope that helps

I was thinking the same think re: Miller but if you look at the FBG rankings this week he’s waaaaaaaaay down the list.

Colston and Moore
Mes agrees. I think the loser in Colston coming back is Patten. Henderson is living on the edge, but in reality, he comes through more than not. Moore seems to have established his place in the rotation, so I am very curious to see what they do with Meachum next year. In Patriots '07 terms:Colston = MossMoore = WelkerHenderson = GaffneyMeachum = Jackson? (i.e. out of a job next year)??

The above comparison to NE last year is right on.. Colsten will get the #1WR looks- midrange to long. Moore gets possession type stuff- though I think he takes a little hit with Bush getting looks when they need 6-8yds. Henderson is a once or twice a game- long ball target. Meachum I think was deactivated for Patton last week, so prob not so much value there....

:lmao: I don't understand how everybody is predicting WR output from the Saints WR's for the rest of the year. Bush is their welker, not Moore. When they need the 5-8 yarders and try to get somebody in open space it's going to be bush when healthy.

Colston and Moore are the WRs to have on this team. They will see plentu of targets. Now if you are talking about who will see the ball the most I would say Colston, Bush, then Moore when it comes to the passing game for the Saints.
