I'm not sure what your point is. Mathews is by far their best running option in any situation, and especially in short yardage. The fact that they had it on the goal line and didn't give him an attempt is pathetic.

He averaged 4.9 yards/carry today. He looked good in the 1st quarter then they stopped using him. Definitely not a horrible Mathews game....more like horrible coaching

More than the numbers, he just looks good. Fast, powerful, bouncing off tacklers, making guys miss.
