***San Fran at Arizona*** (+10, 42.5) Monday Night in Mexico (1 Viewer)

Curious play call. Deebo just a running play. You've got CMC and Mitchell to do that.
Not that it's bad for real FB, but I think it hurts his YPC and chunk ydg runs

Its dumb. If he goes in motion that's one thing, but to hand it to him like a RB to run it up the gut...unnecessary with Mitchell and Cmc at his disposal.
Sorry. My reply was supposed to be towardy previous discussion with @rockaction about CMC not seeing as many rushes as Mitchell w QB under center.

QB is going to definitely be a weakness in the playoffs

He's limited, but I don't see anybody in the NFC besides Dallas that can really fluster a QB like the Rams did last year.

But time will tell. Other defenses might come to the fore.
We have enough evidence that he is not good and will botch it when it counts. Arizona in November ain’t the same as the playoffs in January.

True. But he was one throw away from winning a Super Bowl. Maybe they're counting on him not having to make that throw or face the serious interior pass rush of the Rams. Heck, they almost made the SB last year and he didn't throw a TD in playoffs, IIRC.

Right. They are talented enough to maybe work around it but he’s definitely a weakness.

2 NFCC trips and a Super Bowl appearance in 2 of the last 3 seasons.
He's taken the Niners further than Cousins has with arguably more talent in Minnesota, has the best WR in the NFL, has one of the Top 3-5 RBs in all of football and a pretty decent supporting cast from there.

I'll gamble on Jimmy G one more time for San Fran when they make the Playoffs, depending on their seed.
You know the Bucs factor into all of this as well, right?

I'm about to go into the Bucs thread and lay out the dream scenario because it's quite possible they host one...and it's very possible that one of the "Wildcard" teams takes out the 2 or 3 seed or both in the NFC opening round, and suddenly the Bucs aren't going anywhere for their 2nd Rd Playoff match up vs say hmmmm, the Dallas Cowboys?
And i can keep writing out the fantasy from there but we're talking about a Seattle team mixed in there nobody believes in, and the Niners looked like world beaters last night against a junior varsity NFL team in terms of leadership and weekly preparedness from their inept leaders.

It's starting to get a little interesting is all i'm saying and a guy like Brady might need this to get him laser focused the rest of the way, you can bet these discussions are going on behind the curtains of where they need to land in the Playoffs. Right now I think they just need to keep winning, Atlanta could be 6-6 after Sunday.

Cousins is terrible too. I would take Jimmy over him.

My ideal Bucs scenario is the 3 seed and the Giants at home, then at Minnesota round 2. More likely it will be Dallas at home as the 4 seed and then at Philly. That’s a grind.

What if the Bucs go in as the 4-Seed, face the top Wildcard team
But keep in mind, the #2 and #3 Seeds/Division winners, it's possible Minnesota faces Dallas in the opening round
I'm telling you there is a scenario where Tampa Bay starts as a 4 seed, plays a home Playoff game and turns around and is hosting another home game..not that home field really matters especially for the Bucs which won 3 road Playoff games en route to the Super Bowl...so they've done it already
What if the Bucs win their opening round and Philly even a week later is somehow quickly exited from the Playoffs and it's Bucs vs Whoever beat Philly in the NFCC, 1 game for all the Tostitos to advance to the Super Bowl?
I'll take Brady blindly.
Just saying

Forty Niners are just the better team. No analytics...

Kind of felt like it was bound to be a blowout, great job getting close to the score.
I had LVR 23...Denver 16 and that ended up being 22-16, scary how close you and I dance around some of these, we should just start a Podcast
Yes,we could call it "The Guys Who sometimes get close to actual Scores" podcast.
