What gives?

I am ready to drop his punk *** and pick up some one that actually produces....

Thoughts? Is it the hammy or what?

Gotta be one of the biggest WR busts of the year, period.

I'm a SM owner. I haven't started him since he got hurt. You can't really trust that a hammy injury is completely gone until he shows you that it's not. I'm not counting on him for a lot the rest of the season, unfortunately.

That being said, I wouldn't drop him quite yet. He could get hot at anytime once he's healthy.

The problem is the QB , Moss is the same type receiver as Steve Smith , get him the ball as often as you can and he will make big plays . Get him the ball 3 times a game , then you dont need him ( The OC should build his game plan around him )

He does have a pretty nice matchup against Atlanta this week. I may have to start him if Colsten isn't back this week.

What gives?
He got hurt six weeks ago and barely stepped on the field since. Why is this even a question? If his hammy improves, his numbers will go up. If it doesn't, they won't.
:hophead: Thanks for the injury update I had no idea....
Also factor in that Jason Campbell actually throws the ball downfield. Unfortunately this offense is an offense in transition given Saunders' arrival, Gibbs' (apparent) reassertion of his more conservative, run-oriented philosophy on the offense, Campbell's promotion to starter, and Moss' and Portis' injuries. Moss figures to be hit and miss at best when healthy given that Campbell has already shown his willingness to target other people in Moss' absense, especially Lloyd and Cooley.

:goodposting: That was the kind of feedback I was looking for.

Moss really benefited from a nice chemistry with Brunell. Mark trusted him 100% (unlike Patten or Lloyd) and would look Santana's way FIRST on virtually every passing down.

Campbell hasn't had enough time to get a chemistry with Moss. Apparently he wasn't taking any snaps with the first team offense until he outright won the starting job.

Once Jason realizes that a low-risk 10 yard hitch to Santana could produce a 50-yard TD, he will start throwing to him more.

Of course, this really doens't help this season. I could see them being a great combination next year when Santana is perfectly healthy.
