Santana Moss (1 Viewer)

War Eagle

How's Moss working out for all you believers today? Where are you now?

I think it's time to officially tag him with "BUST".

I couldn't believe how few times they threw beyond 10 yards. It reminded me of the 2004 team when they'd take absolutely no chances. Were they that worried about pressure through their beat up o-line that they weren't taking any of those chances?

I didn't focus on Moss particularly, but my impression is that all 'Skins receivers and Campbell too are next to worthless until that line gets healthy. Even Cooley was invisible for the most part today.

:yucky:

good call redman. Its the line right now, not the WRs/TEs/RBs. With 4 starters out, can't expect too much at this point. That D is for real. I was surprised they didn't blitz more today though. But what a great pickup Fletcher was.

wishing I didn't believe the hype obout him rebounding this week, and play him over Harrison (Monday night GTD)

He rides the pine from here on out.

please, stop focusing on reality and get back to bashing Moss.TIA

He's always been a boom or bust player from week to week. You should have known that when you drafted him. He'll go off for 200 yds + 2 TDs one of these weeks.

That's it, in a nutshell. Campbell isn't going to get time to pass, even running plays are getting blown up in the backfield. Pucillo (Rabach's backup at center) was repeatedly pushed backwards into Campbell and Portis today. The coaching staff knows there is little time to set up and throw and call plays accordingly. It's boring and conservative but it's better than watching Campbell wait for deep patterns to develop and get smashed to the turf repeatedly.

Last week was good enough reason to bash all season. That's reality.
guy has had a pretty good career :goodposting: last week was inexcusable. but ignore the fact that they had no line today and he's still recovering from injury.guy is a sack of ####

He's averaging 33 yards and 0 TDs per game! SWEET!

At this point, is he waiver wire fodder? If not, when is enough enough?

Traded him last week straight up for C-Buck (I have Westy). The guy with C-Buck had been trying to swing this deal all season and I kept saying no. After last week he says, "What about now?" I said, "Deal!"Gotta love the "buy low" guys...If I hadn't traded him last week I would have dropped him after today's disgraceful performance.Guy's a JOKE!

Hey Furley,You're a regular around these parts, so why don't you contribute? What is so funny about drafting and starting S. Moss?Regards,HM
i'm not laughing about drafting or starting Moss.i'm laughing at yet another "he sucks!" thread directed at a very good player who had an off series/game/start to the season. these threads are horrible. the worst the SP has to offer.it might not be so bad if these types of threads didn't pop up at halftime of the first game of the season and then only increase as the year goes on.

That's a stupid statement. He's a good WR recovering from injury on a team with 1 lineman that's healthy from last year.

don't let reality cloud your vision here, guy. this is a serious thread about how Santana Moss is single-handedly destroying fantasy seasons.

i'm laughing at yet another "he sucks!" thread directed at a very good player who had an off series/game/start to the season. these threads are horrible. the worst the SP has to offer.
The joke might be on Moss owners, Furley. I'm not a Moss owner but he came into today ranked 65th among WRs and it's doubtful he'll be moving up. How exactly is he not a bust? His production has awful this season.

i'm not a Moss owner either. he's having a bad season there's no doubt about that.it's just tiring to read/see these threads in the Pool. detracts from the overall quality.

:lmao: What gets me about these threads is that the people just want to ##### and moan. They don't want to understand what's going on. I try to explain about the injuries, etc., it doesn't matter. Moss sucks. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaah, you drafted him higher than his performance justified. Get over it, and welcome to fantasy football!

:lmao: it's a Pool-wide problem. every year. people discount injuries, the opposing team, situations, etc. when a player sucks it's not ALWAYS 100% that players fault. not letting anyone off the hook but when LT started cold there were, what, a dozen threads about how he sucked and was finished???

It's also a pool wide problem that those such as yourself fail to recognize that it is a "Fantasy" football forum. Who, what, when, where, why....it doesn't matter! In fantasy football leagues across the world, for whatever reason, Santana Moss is a BUST! Not a bust as an NFL per say, although he is, but a FANTASY BUST!He has less than 200 receiving yards through 7 games! Is he really helping the Redskins? Is he really helping fantasy teams? The question posed by this thread was...Is it time to officially label Moss a BUST for 2007? Is it time to drop him or does he still have value on a FANTASY roster? Or is he a huge WASTE OF SPACE on a roster for fantasy football in 2007?

I agree that I won't be starting him unless I have to, but the thing with Moss is that he is one of the few wr's who can single handedly get a victory for you. He always has a huge game or two every year which is why he makes such a good #3, or at least that's what I thought. The problem is he is not being very consistent this year.
