Santana Moss (1 Viewer)

Obviously he won't post these projected numbers, but he has been VERY consistent the first 3 games of the season in Zorn's new WCO offense. What are your thoughts on him for the rest of the season??

Santana Moss caught seven passes for 75 yards and one touchdown in Week 3 against the Cardinals. So much for the Redskins' new offensive scheme limiting Moss' upside. He has back-to-back big games and is on a 1,500-yard, 16-touchdown pace. His shifty fourth-quarter touchdown on a short screen pass makes him the first Redskins receiver in nearly 50 years to catch a score in six straight games.

um no. he's had two good wks. look at his history. he disappears for wks at a time.

he burned me two yrs ago, and i told myself i'd never draft him again. of course now he's tearin it up. but i expect him to disappear against really good corners. maybe not, oh well.

Moss has now been very consistent the first 3 weeks. I am going to try and trade for him...
FOR?!?!? :lmao:

I think the "Shark Move" right now is to trade Moss... I'm skeptical that his value will be any higher this season. Right now you might be able to get an RB2 out of the deal.... if you're REALLY interested in landing Santana... I think it'd be wise to wait at least a week or two for him to have a less spectacular game and then swoop in for your prey.

Shark move? Ugh. I'm with gbill. I'm thinking about trading for him too. I think he is going to continue his production levels as long as Campbell and Portis stay healthy. No, I don't think he'll end up with 16 TD's but I think at end of year people will be surprised where is he ranked.

Going back to last year, Santana has now scored a TD in 6 straight games. Its time to stop hating and realize he is a very good WR when healthy. And if you have watched the Skins play calling, you'll see they are throwing the ball a LOT more this year, and more importantly, NOT in obvious situations. Zorn has already proven he's willing to take more risks than Gibbs. That's all this offense needed.

You're letting emotion prevail when it really shouldn't. All WRs disappear at times. It's the nature of the position. Moss will have a good year.

I guess if you have depth on your team and your team is weak in another area then a trade might be viable. If he was on my team he would not be traded. I don't know his straight up value maybe a low end RB or number backup QB producing like a number one with question marks someone like Warner

When he's healthy and the Redskins are willing to pass, he's Steve Smith. What would you trade Steve Smith for?
