I really need SH this week but I know he is crusty from the ankle injury. Any homers have updates? My lineups are do tomorrow at 3:00. Thanks.
How can their be no news yet? Practice must have ended hours ago.No news yet. simmer down, guy.
Santonio Holmes practiced without restrictions on Wednesday and is not on the Steelers' Week 15 injury report.Holmes' ankle is still an issue, however, as he played fewer snaps than both Nate Washington and Cedrick Wilson in Week 14. He's a high-risk WR3 play against Jacksonville even if he continues to practice all week.
Thanks Shady. I have to disagree with you though. Even if his ankle is still week he should not be considered a WR3 or "risky".Santonio Holmes practiced without restrictions on Wednesday and is not on the Steelers' Week 15 injury report.Holmes' ankle is still an issue, however, as he played fewer snaps than both Nate Washington and Cedrick Wilson in Week 14. What you're disagreeing with was a rotoworld update. He was a risky start last week. How many looks did he get? Sounds like you need to ask the assistant coaches whether he starts over your back-up (who's your back-up)?Thanks Shady. I have to disagree with you though. Where in there does it say Rotoworld? HUH? And why are you talking about last week when I'm talking about THIS WEEK!!!!!!It's really none of your business who's my backup. If Ben makes a better throw Holmes would have had a TD in the first half last week. He can do quite a bit on a small number of targets. He's not a high risk WR3 play unless we get word he's questionable. What you're disagreeing with was a rotoworld update. He was a risky start last week. How many looks did he get? Sorry for snapping at you Shady. It's been a rough day : ) People continue to attack me over my stance on Andre Johnson with no support from those who believe as I do. Reading your posts is like watching that crazy homeless guy that wanders around talking to himself...part of me feels sorry for you but part of me also is laughing my ### off at the pure unpredictability of your responses...it`s like a study in insanity...classic stuff here....almost seems done on purpose just to get reactions.....wow.Where in there does it say Rotoworld? I hve him in two dynasty leagues, I won't start him again this season..and I'm beginning to think the guy is fra-JILL-ay, like the Leg Lamp in A Christmas StoryWhat, nobody cares about Santonio Holmes out there?? If i was Andre Johson there'd be 20 responses by now saying "start him"!!!
"Must be Italian"Also looking for any SHolmes news I can find. So it sounds like Holmes is definitely going to play and will be more involved than last week. But he's still not 100%, is playing a tough Jags D, and will likely have bad weather conditions to contend with. Based on all that, I'm avoiding him again this week. The probability for a big game seems quite low.
Thanks for the update. For those of us who have had Holmes on our bench the last few weeks and find ourselves in the Championship game, it might be hard to start him. He really hasn't had a good game back and this week's for all the cash. Nice to know he's an option though.Does spaz=moron? Just curious.
CBS Sports (worthless IMHO)
Holmes has tailed off since a hot start due to an ankle injury but at least made it through the whole game. Look for him to play well in Week 16 at St. Louis and consider him a low-end No. 2 Fantasy option.
ROTOWORLD
Actually an encouraging performance. Holmes converted a crucial third-and-long and caught a two-point conversion, and was open deep down the field a number of other times. Ben Roethlisberger couldn't hit him. Check the progress on his ankle throughout the week, but we'd feel much better playing Holmes next week in St. Louis
bumped sources for general spaz
