Saquon Barkley- 2021 First Round Pick (Re-Draft) (1 Viewer)

Starting to look at 2021 and get a rough idea of the draft slots.

This is my first iteration:

1.      CMC

2.      Kamara

3.      Cook

4.      Henry

5.      Zeke

6.      A. Jones

7.      Adams

8.      Chubb

9.      Barkley

10.  M. Thomas

11.  Hill

12. Metcalf

I'm wondering, given that SB is coming off multiple, injury ridden seasons if I'm too bullish.

I suppose it depends on how we hear his recovery is going. He had to wait some time to do the surgery so if you go with the 1 full year timetable, he may not be ready for Week 1.

Tough to say at this point. If we know he is healthy to start week 1 I would put him above a few of those guys (zeke, Jones, Henry). But if health is not known I would slide him farther down then you have him.

Since it was an early injury, I'm baking into my calculus that he will be ready to roll Week #1 of 2021.

Zeke too high.  He looks cooked to me.  Clearly being outplayed by Pollard right now IMO
I can't argue that point. He has not looked special, really at all. I'm trying to parse out how much of it is Dak's injury, game script, and line play vs. an actual physical regression. He has lacked second level burst and long runs are few and far between. I still, given the paucity of true bellcow backs that get high value touches in both the run and receiving game, feel that there is little chance he falls out of the top 6-8 choices next year, especially in standard leagues.

If I'm sitting in the middle of the first next year and CMC, Cook, Kamara, and Henry have all been taken- I still take Zeke over Jones, Adams, and Barkley.

In a ppr format, Adams is likely a better choice, and a reasonable argument could be made for Jones, too.

I'm out on Barkley.  Two season ending injuries in a row and if the giants are smart they'll be starting over with a new qb next year.  Not to mention that o-line will never be good and they decided to bring in the clapper as coordinator.
