Saturday Night Games (1 Viewer)

Bell just fumbled. Recovered by Denver. Dayne with a nice run. This Houston announcer is really ripping on Ron Dayne.

Does anyone have live feed on Jacobs-NYG? Tell us what we can't see.
Ran over like 3 guys for 6 yards. Had a big run called back on penalty where he cut to the sideline. (the penalty was on the WR and didnt have much to do with the yardage)3-1-CLE49 (4:21) B.Jacobs right guard to CLV 38 for 11 yards (T.Jones, B.Russell).

PENALTY on NYG-K.McKenzie, Offensive Holding, 10 yards, enforced at CLV 49 - No Play.

1-10-NYG29 (4:36) B.Jacobs up the middle to NYG 40 for 11 yards (D.Carter).

1-10-NYG40 (4:02) B.Jacobs right guard pushed ob at CLV 17 for 43 yards (C.Crocker).

PENALTY on NYG-W.Ponder, Offensive Holding, 10 yards, enforced at 50.

1-10-CLE45 (3:31) B.Jacobs up the middle to CLV 33 for 12 yards (E.Kelley).

PENALTY on NYG-W.Ponder, Illegal Formation, 5 yards, enforced at CLV 45 - No Play.

2-2-CLE37 (2:30) B.Jacobs right end to CLV 31 for 6 yards (D.Carter).

WILLE PONDER IS THE MAN. Keep Jacobs on the low for my drafts

Really impressed with Morency's quickness. I hadn't watched him in college, he's not the kind of back I thought he was. he's almost too eager to always cut back.

I will just add my overall impressions on the Texans/Broncos game as far as the Broncos go.Mike Anderson was the #1 back and he did okay, tough running but not much in the yards category.Bell did nothing great in his rushing attempts. He did fumble on his pass reception which is a continuing concern. The surprise was he was out on the field on special teams during punt returns--so take that for what it is worth.Dayne ran strong and showed some nice hands on his receptions. He could make this team.Jake did not look good. His throws were off and he just wasn't crispVan Pelt was great. He had an amazing run for 40 yards and showed some incredible a/l/a Elway escapes in the pocket. He showed incredible touch on his passes. He reminds me of Ashton Kutcher.....Mauck did not get much of a look as it was mid-4th quarter before he got in and when he was in he was hindered by bad field position.Rod Smith is amazing and he played very well. Just a wonderful player.Watts continued to drop balls--something like 4 tonight that he should have caught.Leile has a couple of nice catches--he needs to step up this year.Adams showed the ability to get open and had some nice catches--he could give Jerry a run for #4 WRRice did nothing but 1 catch and was only targeted I believe 2 times.Alexander had a nice TD catch and I can see why he is #1 on the depth chart right now.Jeb played well with the 2nd team but just didn't get the looks to do anything.Elam's kicks were off tonight. They went through but were squibbing around--I wonder if the change in holder is having this effect on him. Something to keep in mind.Denver defense played amazing tonight. I am an admitted homer, but I am bumping them up my draft list. They are quick and Darrent might just be the answer at PR to get 1-2 TD returns this year.Just my thoughts.

I agree with him not following his blockers--he needs to work on that. He also has to work on his hands. He had one clear fumble and then another 2 where the ball was bouncing around.

Arrington seemed to fall a bit to quick and didnt do much to impress me. He got stuffed alot at the line so the Cards went to the air. I believe he was targeted a couple of times via the pass.

Andrew Walter didn't look too bad. When he decided to throw, he got rid of the ball pretty quickly and was fairly accurate. 2/4 for 17, but one of those incompletions bonked off a guy's helmet and he should have had it. I hope we get to see more of him after this punt.

Morency looked awful. If he doesn't learn to run with patience he will have no NFL career to speak of.I'm also not impressed with how easily he is separated from the ball & how easily he goes down on initial contact.

DomDav's 4 missed chances from the 1 is very concerning.  I am nervous about DD, and I am a Texan homer.

Should this give everyone pause before they take DD?

ya. He stinks now. How long did he play?
I don't know how long he played--I am watching around the huddle. I am not saying that 4 plays makes DD a bad back. I guess I just have some gut concerns about him. Hollings really looked good, but I understand that this is the preseason and we shouldnt read too much into these games. But I am still wondering about DD.
It never fails. Someone has a bad preseason game and someone falls for it.

In the DEN / HOU game, I thought Wells did a respectable job.. He certainly seemed focus. I also thought that Carr had some minor "happy feet" going, but didn't really see enough to really made a decision.
