Saturday night preseason game observations (1 Viewer)

Ware gets the start for NYG, apparently Bradshaw missed a meeting.

Nicks gets in a fight with Taylor, comes off on the short end, but is tossed anyway. Curious if this gives Victor Cruz lots of PT tonight.

McNabb moves offense well, bet stalls inside the ten. Almost has a TD to Davis.

Roeth underthrows Wallace and is picked.

Mendenhall has one nice run to open the game, but the NYG D has been in the backfield on most plays. Couple big stops for negative yards (-11, -7)

Redman, who some feel may be the handcuff to Mendenhall is playing FB some, picked up a first down.

Bradshaw looked very quick on that TD run, beating every one to the corner.

We were all on the bandwagon already but Bradshaw looks pretty awesome... He has either made something happen or made a few guys look silly and almost made something happen every time he touches the ball. I havent been watching him much, but I'm really liking what I'm seeing now...

Yes he does look good. Kenny Phillips only got 6 snaps but looked pretty quick.
 
Last week's darling, Cruz hasn't done anything even with Nicks gone. Sinorice Moss had a nice punt return, Hagans caught a pass and as I type, Cruz drops one.

 
Bradford is looking good but can anyone in St Luis catch the freakin ball? I've seen at least four or five dropped passes!

D-Will looks good, no surprise there.

Moore's pick wasn't good, but it wasn't horrible. He targeted LaFell deep down the left sideline. Overthrew him by a step, but the safety help got there and picked it off. Pretty close to a punt.

Tomlinson already getting carries on the Jets first series and broke off a long run. I didn't think anything of the LT signing, but I;d start to get a little nervous, especially when Greene is not getting much.

Mike Wallace still has speed. Gets through the Giants D, past Rolle and Leftwich hits him almost perfectly. Don't think Dixon has that type of pass in him.

Bradford or Feeley? In the highlight I saw, they credited Feeley with the TD.

Both but when Bradford came in his throws were right on target but no one is catching it. The TEs, RBs, and WRs are all dropping the ball.............WTH????
 
Anyone watching the TB game? Is Spurlock starting? HE was pretty amazing as a receiver at Ole Miss. Would also like to hear observations on Caddy.

I'm not sure if he's starting due to this blackout, however he did just score a 53 yard touchdown pass from second string Josh Johnson :lmao:

Yes it looks like it. Freeman came out of the game and Johnson is starting at QB.ETA: Johnson is looking really good and Mike Williams is really looking like a vet WR.Huggins is looking quick gaining a lot of yards.1st unit still in.

Sleeper alert - Washington WR Anthony Armstrong is playing often in first quarter for the Redskins. He scored last week and he caught a long pass this week. He might be a candidate for WR2 duties.

He's not even in the MFL database.

Cruz has only been in on that 1 snap. The punt return was Aaron Ross, not Sinorice Moss.

Nice work man, thanks. Jeff, nice pointer on Anthony Armstrong. This is the point of preseason where people start coming out of the woodwork. Just from this thread I have two sleeper dynasty WRs on my radar.
 
The Rams are in trouble if Jackson goes down they made a serious mistake in not getting a real #2rb.

 
Campbell looking sharp for Oak with Bush getting a lot of the work.

Oak def is either very very good or Chicago o-line sucks!

ETA: Cutler is getting his behind kicked! Just saying!

Carolina running game looks to be a little better than the Jets rush D. I would have no problem investing a second into D Williams. Moore has looked quite pedestrian. Clausen played very well lasy week. Another good performance could really cloud the Carolina QB situation.

 
Isaac Redman will get some red zone looks this year. Guy is looking strong.

I hate this point in the preseason. I have my targets and I just hope that they all have boring non-descript days and show nothing but it never seems to work like that....
