**Saturday Showdown #1 - Vikings 7-6 at Bengals 7-6** (-3, 40.5) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

Don't target Justin Jefferson at all during your most important drive. That's it. That's the ticket. Let's go with QB sneaks all day long. Whatever you do, absolutely ignore your best player on the team.

If the QB push didn't work on 3rd down why would MIN run it again on 4th down?

They deserve to lose this one.

News flash for KOC, you can't get 3 inches running behind Bradbury. For the love of god, just accept it and tear that page from the playbook.

Well, I hoped to get out with a lead Higgins and Hock against JJ and Chase. And I got away up 8.6. Now I’ve gone from projected to lose by 20 to projected to win by 0.3. Sixth seed against stacked 3rd seed.

I feel dumb but why should these teams have played each other last year?
This is the oddball interconference game for these teams. The "17th game". It's a team from the interconference division you played the previous year.

ETA: WRONG! It is the oddball game, but it's not from the division you played the prior year.

Browning worked out pretty well with 27.

Ty & Metellus combined for 53 in another league.

We’re off to a good start, folks! :pickle:

Left Tee on the bench with 22 in another league. :sadbanana:

It turned out very good all things considered. Gotta admit it was looking bleak for those owners halfway through 3rd quarter. Worst thing imaginable is looking at 10 pts from your QB in the playoffs. Ha ha

Thanks, I've been meaning to look up how they decided this one.
But they didn't play last year.... That's why I didn't understand the question

I blame the announcer but it was 2021 not 2022. Still odd getting used to that when you typically only see those games once every 4 years.

So in 2021 the afc north played the NFC North as part of the normal rotation. The extra 17th game as noted above is on a division rotation cross conference based on previous year records

Ah, you're right, I recant my explanation which is not correct. Maybe it's a team from the division you play next year!

Well you were right that this is 17th game is a interconference game ;)

Who is this Jake Browning and why are we talking about him?
Whoever he is he's leading a Bengal come back from a Bungled start.
Vikings come starting another different quarterback, yet they're still in the playoff conversation.
Vikings come in having played without Their Cousin Jefferson for much of the season, yet they're still in the playoff conversation.
I think the conversation gets a little muted after this one...

Queen City Brownings- 30
Twin City Mullens- 23
Thank you very much :moneybag:
