Hulk,
Big one here..would like to go from $180 per month for 1400 minutes (and no texting) amongst 6 people (kid in college and in-laws) on Verizon at the end of the month to whatever is cheapest (can switch carriers, but a little worried about Sprint and T-mobile towers out here)....
1. Me -- about 300 minutes a month, probably 500 texts a month (would like 200 mb of data or so), main zip code 63367
2. Wife -- about 400 minutes, probably on the order of 500-1000 texts a month, main zip code 63367, but wants good coverage at 63552 for the 2 weeks she is there (middle of nowhere MO -- complained about the kid with the Selectel plan below not getting good coverage there, but she and the kid in college did have good coverage with their phones on the Verizon plan, grr)
3. kid in college -- about 500 min, 3k texts, data not too critical (63367 and 63501 for school)
4. kid at home -- on a 2000 min, 1500 text plan for $75 through Selectel (63367)
5. Mother in law -- 1000 minutes a month, 1500 texts, data not too critical (78521 and 63501 for 6 months each)
6. Father in law -- 150 minutes a month, minimal if any texting (78521 and 63501 for 6 months each) -- looking at the Selectel $75 plan for him.
Truly looking at Selectel plans that fit this criteria IF the 63552 extended network thing is an anomoly. Thanks for any direction you can give!
