I was watching original Halloween again the other night and I forgot how often the 1951 version of The Thing was on TV in the background.

4 years later, Carpenter directed the remake of it.

Obviously he liked that story.

Ok, my anger over this has cooled off enough for me to vote:

Blair Witch - I was one of the people fooled by the marketing.

Alien - The Shining is great, but Alien is better.

Body Snatchers - that ####### dog with the human head!!!
