I can't find a league site for a 7 team leauge. Anybody know a site that will give me a schedule. I tried the site, but they have schedules for every format except for 8 teams.

Don't know why that is funny to you but let me explain. I am a HS principal and we have a boy in our school that is a special needs kid. He loves football, especially the Steelers. He wanted to play Fantasy Football and I organized a league for him. Me, him and 5 of his buddies. That's why I need a 7 team schedule. Hope you don't find that funny!

Don't worry about it. People on these boards, though usually very knowledgeable and helpful, can be jack***** when it comes to anyone who is in a league smaller than 10 teams. I got ripped for being in an 8 man league.Have you tried yahoo? I think you can do a 7 man league on there and just have 1 team on a bye each week. I guess it's probably too late to add one more person to your league, so maybe try Yahoo. Other than Yahoo I don't know what to tell you.

When my league had an odd number of teams, i just had each team play two games per week.

in addition to eliminating a bye, it gave a team that had a great week the opportunity to at least win one game if they happen to play a team that has a great week.

Even without your reason, I don't see why he feels the need to be a dope. I guess less than 8 teams is beneath his standards. Sartre is right. Use league average as your 8th team and then run the schedule that way. If you don't want to use LA as the 8th team, then just use it as a bye week.

I'd contact the private school down the street, specifically the English department. In addition to finding an eighth team, they may be able to proof your posts. I'd go with a doubleheader schedule. I think the kids would enjoy following two games a week. Byes stink, especially when you would have to dole one out every fourth week. By the way...it's pretty cool you're doing this for the kids.

Of all the drafts I have been in this year, this one was the most fun. Some strange picks but I had a blast. To solve the problem, I created a ghost team (Team Name: Ghosts) made up of players that were not drafted. This team is terrible and should give all of the guys at least 2 wins against their principal. Let you know how it comes out.
