Scoring Change for the Minny DEF? (1 Viewer)

Went to bed last night up by a half point only to wake up and see that I now have lost by a half point. The change seems to come from the Minnesota game where they are now credited with 3 sacks instead of 2. I checked the play-by-play and they had one on Dilfer and one on Hill. This is on CBS, so I am not sure if anyone else shows this or if this is just the comissioner busting my balls, which we tend to do from time to time. NFL.com still shows 2 sacks and every one of my other leagues shows 2 sacks. Can anyone help?

If they do have three sacks, I guess its :lmao: time for me.......

Seeing the same thing in our league. This change will decide a playoff game. Fortunately for us we can just follow our rules which are very clear on how to handle this. That said, I still hope this issue is resolved so CBS matches the rest of the box scores that are out there.

This is a good example of why you leagues rules need be very clear on where your official stats come from.

I wonder if this pertains to the change of Spencer Johnson's interception to a fumble recovery. When it was ruled as an interception, there would be no sack on the play. It has now been changed to a fumble recovery. When the quarterback fumbles while attempting to pass because of defensive contact, a sack is also registered. This ruling change would in effect:

Take away 1 interception

Add 1 fumble recovery

Add 1 sack.

Correct - the change in the interception to a fumble also meant that the Vikes D was credited with a 'team sack'

sucks for some, great for others
