Scoring Question (1 Viewer)

The Jon Kitna play yesterday when he caught his own pass made me think. I got points for the reception in my league. If he would've ran it in for a touchdown, would you get points for a receiving touchdown AND passing touchdown? Also, has a QB ever thrown a touchdown pass to himself?

Depends what your league rules say, but in my league(s), yes you would get credit for the receiving TD and the pass TD. It counts as a completed pass, so if your league awards ppr, Kitna should have gotten credit for it. Drew Brees caught his own pass in week 1. And Brad Johnson a few years ago with Minnesota caught his own pass for a TD on teh 1 yard line. I know it has been done before as well (Boomer Esiason? Steve McNair?).
