Seahawks at Dolphins (1 Viewer)

Looking like a great one on one against Jake Long vs Chris Clemons all game. Both guys alternating beating on each other. Seattle's O not clicking yet and already on the hook for 5 penalties, though one was tactical.

Horrible deep throw by Wilson. Great catch by Tate.Miami DTs are owning the line of scrimmage so far.
Tate's very frustrating in that he makes circus catches but doesn't seem to be a good route runner and could help so many more ways if he had more than a ten cent head. Wilson's been outstanding in the pocket though. He's escaped a lot of pressure, left a few defenders with broken ankles. I expect some serious halftime adjustments.

Just got in to watch the game and was catching up using he DVR. On that Bush TD run Earl Thomas hits the ball when Reggie is at the 1 & a half yard line. The ball clearly becomes dislodged from Reggie's left hand immediately and begins moving in his right hand prior to crossing the goal line. By the time he hits the ground the ball is no longer in his possession.

Obvious question is why wouldn't that be a fumble; but to me the bigger issue is how the whole process of instant replay has become less about getting the call right per the rules and more about verifying the call on the field. This should probably be in one of the instant replay threads, but the instant review process, and replay in general, needs to be retooled (if not completely scrapped).

I was surprised they didn't review it. It did look like he lost possession of it before he passed the cone. Dunno if it was as blatantly obvious as needed to overturn, but that most likely should've been a touchback. I was even more surprised that the Seattle coaching staff wasn't all over the refs for it so I kind of assumed it wasn't what I thought I saw.

Wilson just does not panic. He may make some bad decisions/throws, but he's not doing it while panicking. I like what Meyers just said about him, "comfortable elusiveness". Good drive so far after a listless first half. Now, FEED THE BEAST!!!! Don't go away from it, Lynch will wear down the D before he wears down.

ughh... couldve used a beast mode TD instead of that PA to Richardson
That was the second or third big play of the drive with a PA out of the backfield. Using the DL against itself, a good halftime adjustment. I would love to see Beast get it there, but I love a TD for the indispensable Robinson too.

Wilson one completion away from tying Moon for a franchise record 17 passes in a row. And....... off the fingertips of Baldwin.

All TD's are automatically reviewed; that's somewhat the point. There is, at this point within the current system, a rush to get a call rather than a commitment to get the right call. You see questionable reviews every week. This simply shouldn't happen.

Dolphins gift wrapped an opp to tie the game which they do.

Seattle intercepted in the end zone on the bogus hit to the head call, 10 penalties now on Seattle. That interception might not have sealed the game but the way Miami is moving the ball thru the air it would have been tough for them to get in the red zone again.

Seattle getting jobbed good here at the end.

I think defenders should just start hitting everyone in the knees from now on. Brush someone's head and it's a flag, offensive player ducks their head and it's a flag, great shoulder hit to the chest and it's a flag. Just start hitting lower than the other guy's helmet can possibly get and start taking out knees.

I meant, they should've buzzed it down and made the ref do an official review. That's what the replay booth is supposed to do when it's close. I didn't think the Thomas TD was even close to needing to be reviewed, but they did. The Bush TD was a lot less clear but it wasn't reviewed.

Leon's been ripe for one for awhile now. Was going to post it earlier but then Ryan said it. Great counter punch. Now, the D needs to get really pissed and if they're going to get flags on crappy calls, then make sure there's an actual penalty worth throwing a flag for. Send out the hard pipe hitting muthers.
