I honestly don't recall a single Atlanta fan in the shark pool.
Give it time. They'll be in here talking about the Green Bay game shortly.
Or at least the Green Bay fans will show up in force to root against Seattle. I've said it many times. I think they got screwed on that Tate TD. I got called a doosh today by a Green Bay fan for saying that.
It was a terrible call. I think RG3 should be the rookie of the year and thought the spread was just about right in the WAS game, and I had some Redskins fan telling me I was everything wrong with Seahawks fans in that thread.
I'm chalking it up to the "ITS effect".Seriously, I've been trying to figure it out. My best guess is that its an alias account created by someone over at :e: for the sake of entertainment. Seems plausible.
Everyone there hates him passionately.
You aren't thought of too highly there either.
Got any more grand revelations? Water is wet and snow is cold as well.

Who wants to be well thought of over there anyway?

A group of guys who run to another board to brag about who they fished.

Yippee.

As a Packer fan I would love for Seattle to win as I think they are inferior to Atlanta is the Packers are good enough to win on Saturday. I don't think it will happen. I see Ryan with a big, big day. His first step in silencing critics.
Would you like to try that again, but in English this time?

I don't think it will happen (Seattle winning) as I see Ryan with a big, big day. His first step in silencing criticsI bolded my corrections. Been a long day but I think you could understand the general message. Also, I do not know Sho Nuff.

Atlanta is severely underrated. It's amazing to me that people give Ryan #### for his performance in three games and totally overlook his complete body of work. He's a very good quarterback and he will prove people wrong.

Is that a Sho Nuff alias? Or isn't it?I really need to know because it's somewhat important to me going forward.TIA
Have I upset you at some point? I remember your avatar but I don't remember anything else about you.

The old "not important enough to remember" post. It's a good one. It gets most people. You can get through 60% of the internet with that one. Welcome to the other side of trolling.

I don't know about underrated, but they seemed like they may have peaked a little too early and have been sliding the last few weeks. Plus they got a few guys dinged up unnecessarily last week. I think -2 is a pretty good indicator as I don't see it as a blowout either way. Obviously I think the Seahawks will win but it will certainly not be easy or in the bag early.

Poor form here.
OP is obviously a wanna be pats fan, but why is this poor form? Every game has had one so far. At least it gives one place to find all the premature rantings.
Pats fan? WTF are you talking about? Hawks beat the Pats. Go Hawks!
Poor form in the sense that the thread was started with more than 3 minutes left in the Seattle/Washington game when Washington still had the ball.
And were down by 2 scores with no timeouts. Game was over.

Everyone who got " dinged up" last week is going to play, last I heard. Plus SEA probably just lost a big player today.

They had timeouts. In the end it didn't matter.Anyway, is there any news on Clemons yet?

Word is torn ACL but they won't know for sure till tomorrow.

I was just mentioning it in relation to their late season slide. They felt the need to play starters in a meaningless game which they lost and got a few guys nicked up more than they needed to be. Losing Clemons is huge, imo, but the team is still surging and obviously not only won but had no choice but to play him. Everything adds up in the postseason and it seems that a lot of negatives have been falling around Atlanta the last month or so.

People have to consider the Seahawks the hot team right now. Each year we seemingly witness a low-seeded team come out of nowhere to make a Super Bowl run. Why shouldn't we expect it to be Seattle? Atlanta choked in the playoffs at home 2 years ago, and they'll probably choke again this year. Their defense isn't anything special, their run game blows, and Matt Ryan has been afraid to make big plays so far. Until he wins a few playoff games, he's not Matty Ice....he's Matty Rice Pudding.

The Seahawks have a very balanced roster with few holes. Frankly the biggest struggle -- no real powerful weapons to throw to - is also a positive, because it gives Wilson the freedom to just run the offense and make plays. He doesn't have to worry about egos, because none of the receivers are good enough to have an ego.

Despite being a Packer fan first, I really like watching Seattle. Would love to see an NFC Championship Game at Lambeau in 2 weeks. That would be a great battle all around. (of course, my confidence level in the Packers vs Niners isn't exactly high)

I don't think anyone is saying he hasn't been a very good regular season quarterback. He's lost to future HOF'ers in Warner,Rodgers and Eli in his 3 playoff games where he was the young/inexperienced QB. No shame in that. Now he's facing rookie Russell Wilson. You've got to wonder if he can't beat the rookie now(with Gonzo nearing end/Roddy nearing end of prime), very fair to ask when he will win. I think many of us do think Ryan can move from a good QB to a great one. But it certainly won't happen w/o playoff wins.

Atlanta should win. Seattle hasn't faced an average NFL passing attack, much less an above average one, in a long time.
Detroit, Dallas, New England? of which they won 2 out of 3
Most recent was Detroit, 10 weeks ago.If Detroit qualifies as average.
They are 3 of the top 4 passing offenses in the NFL by passing yards/game, now if you are saying the Hawks are screwed because their schedule did not line up to have them play in the second half of the season :shrug:http://espn.go.com/nfl/statistics/team/_/stat/passing/sort/netPassingYardsPerGame/seasontype/2

As an aside, I'm rooting hard for GB next weekend. Despite the gong show the pregame thread would be, they're the team I want.
Good choice, although it would be great to shut up ITS by having a bigger, tougher, more physical team put you in your place in two weeks.

Atlanta has sooooooo much pressure on them. I love the role of under dog to a team that hasn't won a playoff game in years.
Are we actually underdogs to Atlanta?
What position do you play for the Seahawks?
Such a stupid argument. What, in context, actually makes you think anyone's trying to pass themselves off as a player when they use personal pronouns? It's a way of identification, that's all.

With it being a dome and the fans being revved up for their first playoff game this year, I expect it to be very loud. If I am Seattle I am using Lynch often to take the crowd out, especially at the beginning of the game.

If I am Atlanta, I am using Rodgers out of the backfield and over the middle. Combined with Gonzo, they need to stay away from the corners from Seattle (based off the handful of games I have seen).

Yet....you feel the need to post this. :lmao:
Yet...you feel the need to post anything.Like your twin stinger...the next thing you post on topic will be your first.Try actually contributing to any of these topics for once.
It is just so easy.
For you to "fish" or to post nothing of consequence ever and always be exposed for what you are?

Atlanta's defense forced 5 interceptions against Drew Brees, 3 against Peyton, and 2 against Eli. To say their defense is nothing special is a gross misrepresentation.

Is that a worthwhile question? I'm actually not going to bother looking up the time you mentioned your favorite team as a 'we' but I guarantee you've done it.You are pathetic with that response though--I'll make sure to keep pointing it out.

They aren't going to be able to run with Turner vs. the Hawks. (Turner's had 1 game over 3.3 ypc the last 8 weeks)

If I'm Seattle, I blitz the hell out of Ryan knowing they can't run on you.

Take your odds with someone like Quizz Rodgers with dump offs trying to beat you.

Atlanta is 13-3 and their only home loss came in week 17 when they were going through the motions. They do have some serious issues running the ball but they use Jaquizz Rodgers in the passing game to offset the lack of a strong rushing attack. Their overall defensive stats are a bit misconceiving, they were ahead a lot this year and some teams got the benefit of garbage yards against them. Very well coached, terrific WR duo and a very good team at home.

Hawks don't blitz

So only three interceptions against playoff QBs that you're willing to brag about?

You aren't familiar with Atlanta fans are you?

True. They also surrendered 502 pass yards 4 pass TD no INT + 202 rush yards 2 rush TD's to Cam Newton in 2 games this year.

I believe in Ryan too. He's got a lot of weapons. I think Seattle's best chance to is to control the clock and keep Ryan on the sideline.

When Green Bay played them a couple years ago it was loud to start the game till about the 2nd quarter. Loud is a relative term I know, but louder than Lambeau generally is.
