Williams is clearly waiting for Sherman, Williams says something antagonistic first. But if you want to think it's a matter of Sherman just running his mouth, feel free.

We don't know what Williams says.And again...another crying "he started it"...which is funny.I think it was a matter of Sherman running his mouth all game...then Williams said something to him and Sherman ran his mouth again.And got smacked for it.

I should have known better than to ask for that which can never be given.

and I should have known better than to think 2 biased fans like you all would ever get it.

I just watched the preview for Sherman's mic'd up and what Williams did at the end of the game is absolutely dirty and disgusting. He basically walked right up to Sherman and smacked him in the face and all while wearing his helmet, big man. It was much worse than what we've seen on TV. I haven't looked to see if he's been fined, but he deserves more than just a fine. Sherman was being a class act too.

I'm not excusing Williams for what he did, and I agree he deserves a stiff fine, maybe more, but saying Sherman was being a class act might be a bit of a stretch. Read THIS, and THIS, and THIS and tell me what about him makes you think he was being a class act in this game (or any other)?

Couple of things. I wish he weren't so loud, period. Him waving goodbye to the fans isn't cool. Some of the stuff he says isn't cool. But some if it gets overblown. Seriously, the Redskins are going to get mad because he 'disrespected' Shanny by saying "you don't want to throw my way"? You gotta have thicker skin than that. I'm sure 90% of what's said by everyone never reaches us and there's lots of really uncool insults and mother jokes flung around. But you can't let it spill over after the game. It's pretty clear that Sherman wasn't doing anything after the game to Williams and he just walked up and smacked him. Needs to be a big fine, more than a uniform violation. I hope cools it because he's an incredible player and could be Champ Bailey special. But I don't want him to be on the list of known dbags for running his mouth all the time.

You are in the 0.5% of Seahawks fans that feel that way. Sherman is so good because he talks to much. He gets in the heads of the entire opposing team and plays with more confidence because of it.

I doubt that the percentage is less than fifty. But hey, there're also people out there that inexplicably think the wolf grey matching top and bottom uniforms look good, or the lime green jerseys look good. And there's some people that kept defending Shaun Alexander... So there'll be a vocal group that like it and make it seem like a lot of fans like it, but they don't. I'm trying to figure out how waving goodbye to the fans in the crowd helps him out on the field. I'll give you a hint, he's good because he's good. His mouth is probably 8th or lower in his most important assets. Getting under people's skin is one thing, he takes it too far too often.
