KFFL has learned free agent OL Sean Mahan (Buccaneers) will meet with the Cleveland Browns Monday, March 5.

Can any Bucs fans shed some light on how good this guy is? We need to fill a big hole at RG. Thanks in advance.

Just found this on the Buccaneers message board, so take it with a grain of salt:OL Sean Mahan - Please god, make him go away...

He is a guard, so it's likely that if the Browns bring him in, he will be a reserve unless he's better than Andruzzi. I'm hoping that Isaac Sowells will step up this year.Height: 6-3Weight: 301Notre Dame Browns actually have decent depth at OT with Shaffer/Tucker starting and Butler who filled in well for Tucker when he was losing his mind.Wouldn't be suprised to see them bring in one more guard and one more tackle at this point.

I think we definitely need at least one solid tackle prospect in the draft (day one pick), and one or two more guards. Mahan (it seems?) would bring some veteran leadership, and I would expect another prospect in the draft.

Any of you Bucs homers want to chime in?

Most of my memories are of the guy on has @zz. Solid back-up, but I don't think he is worthy of a starting job. He could however be a great quick-fix/ band-aid until Bentley returns.

Fraley will handle those duties at center. I'm thinkin' if they sign this guy he'll be in contention for the starting RG spot, or rotation, with Andruzzi and maybe Butler if he can play there. Then they'll take at least one OT or OG in the draft that might take over mid year.

He was a back-up on one of the worst lines in the league, and it doesn't look like the Bucs are interested in keeping him...even for depth. Not much else to say.
