Seattle at Carolina (1 Viewer)

Panthers trying to help the Seahawks get back into this letting Baldwin run deep uncovered  and Wilson misses..

Defense getting sloppy 2nd half...per usual.
Yea, that was strange.. Let Baldwin go deep no cover.. Lucky Wilson misses.. Then leave Kearse completely uncovered for a 1st down.. Agree with others that we've seen this from the Panthers many times this year vs Packers, Giants, etc..

Carolina better wake up fast or this game will turn on them really quick. A solid 8-9 play dive with at least 3 points and take a lot of time off is exactly what they need.

The OL better get nasty and get some holes opened for J.Stew. They gotta be able to run the ball or they are in trouble. Crazy to say that with a 31-0 lead at the half....but momentum has clearly shifted here. Seattle is motoring down the field. If they get another 3 and out it will be a 31-21 game.

Thinking the Panther starters are still in the locker room celebrating the first half.. They might want to come back out now.. Only a 17 point lead and a quarter and a half left :oldunsure:

Big first down. Milk that clock and score (a TD) and it is game set and match.

Should have gone for two that time. Went from "down 3 scores" to "still down 3 scores" with Lockett's TD.
this seems right to me.
Part of it is game flow. Seattle has a lot of momentum and there is still a lot of time left. I don't think it's horrible to kick the extra point there and I'm usually in favor of coaches being more aggressive.
how would the momentum be if you were suddenly in a 2-score game? no good?

I'm not convinced Seattle has enough time for FOUR successful scoring drives. Which is what Carroll commits to by not going for 2.

Yeah it's probably the right call to go for 2 but Carroll is probably thinking 2 tds and a FG sends it to OT. Plenty of time remaining for all of that. But yes I think going for 2 is the right move.

Why would they need 4 successful drives when they're only down by 17?
