Seattle at Houston (1 Viewer)

About the only thing to report on the first drive is a nice sweep toss to Foster for 16 yards. Next play a bootleg that Sea Def does not fall for, Schuab gets rid of it. 2 yard run up the gut, then a 3rd and long where Clemons destroys the Hou T and forces Schaub to get rid of it again.

Broadcast crew sucks, almost missed the opening kickoff, almost missed the Sea first play. Deep strike to Sidney Rice, Joseph called for Def PIat around the Hou 40.

Couple of Lynch runs, 3rd and 3 pressure from Watt & Mercilous, forces an incompletion from Wilson. 48 yard FG is good.

LMAO...what was there....5 players had a hand on that ball before someone finally caught it?

Bootleg short to Andre, who cuts across the field laterally and turns up the field for a 1st. Nice hole up the gut for Tate who then second efforts it for a few extra yards for the first. Run right for Tate outside, not much. Then a nice pass to Graham for 17 middle of the field, he shed a tackler for some nice extra yards. Then Andre across the center for another first. Foster met at the LoS but scrambles up for 2. Tate straight ahead for another 2.

3rd and 5 on the 18th. Ball pops off Owen Daniels hands then off 2 Seattle Defenders and a 3rd Seattle defender gets the INT.

Ugh, textbook drive for the Hou offense this year. Dink and dunk up the field only to blow it in the redzone.

1st and 17 from the 2 and Lynch sheds like 18 tackles 40 yards. Just awful showing for the Texans Def.

Well, we have a ballgame again. 3rd and long and the Texans rush four. Wilson gets sacked by like 3 Texans.

2nd and 10 form the 10, dump to Foster underneath, 3rd TE Ryan Griffin delivers a crushing block and frees Foster for a big gain.

Some more quick 10-15 yards strikes here and there. 1st play of the 2nd quarter, Graham runs a go and catches the Sea Defender napping, TD Hou!

Really surprised that wasn't called, it was right at the turn. It's an automatic flag on any kick return and with the emphasis in crack back blocks (not that that was), I'm shuked there was no flag.

Sea Defender brings it out from like 8 or 9 yards back and takes a hard hit and coughs it up. Scrum for the ball but Seattle keeps it.

Hmmmm...seemed clear the returner had gotten it back BEFORE 3 more players jump on him while he's on the ground and knocked it loose again.

Andre picks up a tough 3rd and 8. Foster with a greatly designed screen run. Then a nice 22 yard run for Tate hitting the hole hard.

I haven't watched any Texans games this year. I just saw a Texans RB make a very nice run and thought "Arian Foster looks better than last year" but I saw the RB's number was Ben Tate's.

Nice diving catch for Daniels who lays it out on the Sea 7. Foster gets the call 1st & goal up the gut for about 2. Then a pass to Foster in the flat who is wide open for the TD!

If not for the crazy ping pong INT off Daniels handsin the redzone on the 2nd drive, Hou might be up 21-3.

I'm actually really looking forward to seeing how the Hawks respond in the 2nd half. Down a lot, playing poorly, on the road, against a good team. This will tell us something about where the team is right now.

Hou goes to Andre to the redzone on 1st & 10 from the 19 but he gets jammed up by Sherma nand has no chance. Off Sherman's fingertips. 6 or 7 up the gut for Foster. Quick underneath to Graham for the 1st down. 1st and goal from the 5. Bootleg to Foster, Schaub under pressure throws it at Foster's feet to get rid of it. 2nd goal to Foster, nothing there. Schaub flushed from the pocket on 3rd and gets rid of it. 22 yard FG for Bullock.

Schaub had a wide open Andre if he floats that 3rd down pass into the back corner of the EZ instead of dumping it "safely" out of bounds. Texans settle for the FG, up 17-3.

Huge stop. Seattle's been a better second half team in their two real games. Gonna need a good drive to close the half.

Question on the second TD. The LB was blocked and that made him trip and let foster get open. Was he at the LoS on the block? How was it he can get blocked in pass coverage?

Sea takes one out of Hou's playbook with a nice delayed pass to Lynch. Overpursuing blitzers frees Lynch for a nice run.

They need to take advantage of the pass rush more. Wilson's been a non-factor this game. Again though, it's a bit like the pattern of the CAR and SF of a very lackluster 1st half and a good second. D played better both games though. Holding them to 3 was huge. Not getting the 1st right now was huge too, for the wrong reasons.

Big stop for the Texans. Sea offense had some momentum but fails to get a play off on 3rd and 2 before the 2 minute warning. Lynch dropped for no gain when we come back.

Sea needs to take a few more deep strikes if they can get Wilson the time. Hou safety's and corners can be beat deep if you can get your QB time to throw. They are still in this because Houston has a ton of yards but only up by 14.
