Selling Andre Johnson (1 Viewer)

I trafed FOR A.J weeks ago giving up Dez Bryant for him...figured id have him for the stretch run...granted i think he takes a hit but consider this...with nobody taking M.L seriously is it possible that the texans tweak the offense to suit the Q.B`s strenths and A.J gets loose woth lots of 1 on 1 coverage....i think A.J does better than most people expect

Just purchased AJ and Celek for Marshall. I'm in the playoffs and the AJ owner is trying to get in.

Just an FYI

In a 12 team PPR dynasty I just traded two mid to late 2012 1st's for him. Hoping he can help me come playoff time .....and beyond, of course.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say AJ's value may take an uptick with Yates compared to Leinart. There's no great body of work to go by, but looking at what we had yesterday...Leinart threw the ball towards AJ once. He threw the ball to Foster 7 out of his 12 passes. Yates threw the ball to AJ 3 times out of his 15 passes. He only threw the ball to Foster twice in those 15 passes, and I recall one of them looking like a definite designed play to be a handoff out into space more than a pass.So AJ may see more targets thrown his way as Yates may check down less. Yates also has a better arm than Leinart and probably better than Schaub, which could play well as AJ frequently had to slow to let Schaub's passes catch up to him when he'd get open deep. All that said of course, prefer to have Schaub in there. But AJ might actually do better with Yates than Leinart. So he might actually be worth getting from a too-scared AJ owner if the trade deadline isn't passed, and if you can pay less than WR1 (or maybe even WR2) in trade for him.

Consider me very worried, but I traded V Jack who is hot and cold.Best case scenario, whoever is the starting QB for Houston locks on to Andre. I think a guy like Garcia could possibly do well with Andre.Who knows what they will do, but I doubt Yates is the answer.Kurt Warner?

The Texans will likely try to stick with people who have some familiarity with their system if possible. Kubiak is like that probably to a fault. He likes to stick with those he is familiar with as coaches and on offense especially. If a Warner was interested in playing maybe they would go there, but I think they'd probably take Sage over anyone else possible right now if he's released and they could get him. Though he has been out of the system for several years now.

Patrick Ramsey really played well in the Saints system back in preseason 2010. He almost got the backup spot to Drew Brees. I think he would be more than serviceable in the Texans, run first offense.
