I've got another round...but a bet is a bet.You getting nervous?Hey helix,How's this...I will bet you a subscription to Footballguys next year that SF drafts a RB within the first 4 rounds. If they don't you get a comped subscription on me. If they DO, you carry a sig link throughout the preseason which says, "Wood was right..."I just disagree with you. Simple as that. I infer from Nolan's statement that he will not take a RB early (within the 1st 4 rounds). Obviously you don't think so. We will see.1) If Nolan is really a talented NFL mind, he wouldn't summarily rule out any position given his team's record and that it's only January2) Don't believe one iota of information that comes out of the mouths of NFL coaches, scouts and GMs publicly between now and AprilNolan was quoted this week stating that he is not interested in another RB. I don't think he is lying. This team has so many holes anything is possible, but I would wager that they don't select a RB with the first 4 picks.
Deal?
Admire your in-season work, but you've been off by a country mile on all your Niner commentary this offseason, Jason.By the way, I should've never made this bet because I forgot to factor one very important consideration into the equation. I don't have a clue about the 49ers this year.
According to ESPN NFL Draft guide Robinson is listed as the # 18 running back not a QBTHE 49ERS JUST TOOK A "RB" IN THE 4TH...
of course michael robinson played QB at penn state, but he was read off as a RB
we may have a tie on this wager![]()
he's randel el like from what I've readhttp://forums.footballguys.com/forum/index...opic=237980&hl=Leave it to the 9'ers to even mess up this wager. Robinson was a QB in college, listed as a WR on NFL.com (http://www.nfl.com/draft/drafttracker/round/round4) and announced as a RB on air. Mr. Woods, this is too complicated for me to argue. You make the call.

Or you could just realize that Frank Gore is the real deal.I've got another round...but a bet is a bet.You getting nervous?Hey helix,How's this...I will bet you a subscription to Footballguys next year that SF drafts a RB within the first 4 rounds. I believe they drafted Robinson as a WR, but either way that's not how I intended to "win" the bet, so I've contacted helix to set him up for a subscription.
