***Shark Pool Home League Uno*** - Congrats in Advance to Joey (2 Viewers)

Thank god y’all took Keenan and Rome. I was going to forced to take one of them.
It's asking a lot of a rookie, even a "Generational" one to sustain three WRs, not to mention the TE, but, IMO at least one of those guys is going to hit this year.

At this point seems worth the risk.
it was only preseason, but he looks like the truth.
For real.

I assume you are watching Hard Knocks and I love his composure, apparent smarts and the way he interacted with teammates.

He has an infectious personality.

Then again, so did Mark Sanchez in 2010 on Hard Knocks.
Keenan Allen isn't always the picture of health, so betting on Odunze's talent as my 4th receiver seems ok. He was thought to be in or close to Harrison and Naber's class and I missed out on them, so Odunze might be fun some weeks as a flex option. That was my thinking, anyway...

Reminder, starting tomorrow the pick clock goes to one hour per. Make sure to load up your queues in case you get caught offside.

Having to pre draft is going to edge this into doing some actual work…this is ungood. :lmao:

Just so I’m clear, that starts tomorrow morning at 4am my time? PST.

Hmm, which QB will Chaka finally take? Caleb not the obvious choice, apparently.
I have all the remaining guys very bunched up but I like Caleb's receiving corps and his mobility, and I don't trust the running game behind him as much as others.

You know your draft has gone sideways when you start making spite picks, lol

I have McLaughlin in my 6 other leagues. He's never gone this early.

I QUIT.
Be happy you didn't get him here. If you have him in every other league, even if succeeds, you're absolutely golden for the year. If he doesn't, or gets injured, at least you have one league without him.

Don't be angry, you got the 1st pick! Huge advantage having Christia....

Nevermind.

In his 18-year history as an NFL head coach, Sean Payton's RB2 (RB who *did not* lead backfield in carries) has averaged >16.5 FPG five times. (For perspective, Travis Etienne ranked as the RB7 last year with 16.4 FPG.) Collectively across all 18 seasons, Payton's RB2 averages 13.8 FPG. (For perspective, James Cook ranked as the RB19 last year with 13.9 FPG.)
Last year, behind Javonte Williams, Jaleel McLaughlin and Samaje Perine combined for 229.3 fantasy points. (Would have ranked 13th among all RBs.) Perine is no longer on the team.
Little known fact: Jaleel McLaughlin is literally the most productive running back in college football history.

Jaleel may ultimately be a total nuthin burger this year, but the above was a damn good posting, and exactly why the Shark Pool kicks ***.

@Chaos34, blame this post right here for your ill tummy this fine Friday evening...

5 of 18? Wait! 5 of 18?!?!?

That's like.... 80%

You and I (and really, most FBGs) are old enough to remember Darren Sproles and wee wee Pierre Thomas. Swinging for something along those lines. Liked what I saw from limited action rookie JMack last year. We'll see what year 2 brings.

what time does this start back up again?

All this hoopla over Jaleel when the much bigger difference maker for 2024 was perhaps taken one round earlier in Blake Corum. Dude is a more powerful version of Kyren. I think NFL draft weekend had a very similar moment to what we just witnessed, except substitute @Chaos34 with Jim Harbaugh. :)

7a PT. One hour per pick going forward, so thinking we have a decent chance to finish up tomorrow.
