Shark Pool Mock Draft - V2.0. 3 rounds! (1 Viewer)

Whelp, looks like here is where the Bears take their QB: Josh Johnson QB San Diego

We need help and I think this kid is pretty good. In all honesty, I'd didn't have him too far behind the Bhrom, Flacco, Henne tier......
Intriguing to say the least. It seems impossible to have a 43/1 td/int ratio.

Amazes me how far Andre Woodson's stock has fallen.
I never thought much of Woodson, to be honest. That being said, I've seen all of one game Johnson played in, so the sample size is small.

71. Andre Caldwell, WR- UF

There are currently many bodies competing for a roster spot at WR for the Jags. Unfortunately, some of those bodies aren't cutting it.

63. New York Giants - Erin Henderson, LB - MarylandI have an idea for Miami. But I'm going to grab some lunch before we launch into the 3rd round.
Sorry I wasn't around to make the pick and didn't have the time to send a list before I left.I was going to take Tavares Gooden with this pick if Brandon Flowers was gone. Henderson is a good pick as well though.

I liked Gooden more than Henderson, but was outvoted 2 to 1. :goodposting:

As a Bear fan I would be throwing my shoe at the tv if they took Johnson over some of the guards available.

I also would have traded up had Flacco dropped as far as he did to insure I got him. We just can't do that in this draft. But yeah, I looked long and hard at OL. I just hated the QB's available after Johnson.

Sullivan was a nice pick for the Rams. I kinda thought Pittsburgh might go in that direction in round 2.
Drafting a C in round 2 is rare, and having just signed Hartwig to a multi-year deal, I don't think C is nearly the immediate need it was a couple of weeks ago.

Who should the Bills take? I'm sure they'd be looking at TE or CB.
Isn't much value left at TE is there?
Rucker? Cottam?
Cottam would be a reach. I completely forgot about Rucker.
I think Cottam is a better prospect then a few of the TE's that have already gone. He has great size and the speed to go along with it. If he wouldnt have been injured for the good part of this season I think he would be a top 3 TE.

73. Minnesota (footballman_696969) - Eddie Royal, WR - Virginia Tech

I think this is a great selection by footballman. Royal suffered through poor QB play in school, but posted excellent, excellent numbers at the combine. He's a very good return man too.

That may be but Cottam is hurt a lot.

74. Carolina- DL Marcus Harrison- Arkansas, he would likely split time with Lewis as a rookie and then take Jenkins old job by his 2nd year. Thought about RB here, but the top guys left(Rice and Charles) are too similar to DeAngelo.

Ray Rice is similar to DeAngelo Williams? :(

Dammit. Hoping he would be there at 80.

75. San Francisco (Andy Dufresne) - John Greco, OT - Toledo

With Staley, Rachal, and Greco (who can play either guard or tackle), the 49ers have one of the youngest lines around. But at least it has a little bit of talent there now.

I wanted to do something flashier for the 49ers. But Greco is a sound pick that should start for them nearly immediately.

I do believe before breaking his wrist, he had not missed a game in the prior two seasons.

I could swear he had some major hand injury in 05'.

With Henne and Flacco off the board already, would any RB or OL be more of a value here and then wait for Johnson or another QB later? I don't see any teams having a pressing need at QB before the Bears' next pick at at #90.

15. Detroit (FUBAR) - Rashard Mendenhall RB, Illinois

45. Detroit (FUBAR) - Carl Nicks, OT

75. San Francisco (Andy Dufresne) - John Greco, OT - Toledo

76. Detroit (FUBAR) Jonathan Goff, MLB, Vanderbilt: Detroit needs a strong MLB, and Goff is an experienced quality LB. He's not the most athletic guy, but he won't miss many tackles.

Curveball...72. Buffalo (Mr. Peterson) - Jermichael Finley, TE - Texas
Wow, you guys move fast durring the day. Sorry I missed the pick. Andy, not a very good selection for the Bills. I think the TE's we have now are better than Finley. With no CB's or TE's worth taking the choice here would have been an obvious John Greco from Toledo. A great talent who can play either guard or tackle. I feel that he would be good value this late in the draft too. The whole right side of our offensive line is not very good and needs to get better quickly. Greco would be able to fill one of those positions nicely once the Bills found out if he was better suited for G or T in the NFL.

Your TE's are terrible (Robert Royal? Derek Shouman?) and Finley is going to be a much better option in the passing game.
