shaun alexander's foot (1 Viewer)

Alexander has a sore foot, but downplayed the possible injury, the Tacoma News Tribune reports.Spin: "I tweaked it last week against Detroit," he said. "It's sore." There was no mention of a sore foot during the week, so it's a good bet this isn't very serious. On the other hand, it could become a nagging injury of sorts. Alexander didn't limp heavily Sunday, but was seen favoring the foot at times.
-per RotowireI was just curious about this because i've been on this board all day and havn't heard a word about it. should i go after maurice because of this news?

i heard it had something to do with a lemon and a wiener dog. unconfirmed.
im sorry, what i meant to ask was 'is there any new relevant news about this?'please- if i wanted comedy, i'd switch my tv from espn to comedy central, and go to ebaums world, rather than this site.

1. If it hasn't been posted on this board, there is an extreme likelihood it's a non-story. 2. If your curiosity is still piqued, feel free to check http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/, http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/home/index.html, or http://www.thenewstribune.com/ for any local news on the subject.

3. If you are an Alexander owner, you should have Maurice on your roster. If not, I wouldn't waste the space unless you can really really afford it.

4. Lighten up, Francis.

eta - i went ahead and checked all of those news sourcs on your behalf. no news of this potential injury. sure hth. welcome to fbg. tia. :)

FWIW, you'll see the Alexander/lemon/weinerdog commercial on ESPN and not on COmedy Central. Since it's an ad for the ESPN mobile phone with sportcenter updates.

Well I might as well say it since some one else soon will...

Madden Curse.

Now to balance out the superstition a related fact:

Defensive tackles have been having very good performance against the Seahawks in the 1st 2 games.

Womack being out 6 weeks is reason for concern as it relates to Alexander.
Some see it as a positive...Good news for Alexander Owners

Wonderful news. Yes, Hutchinson is gone, and now another starter is out for several weeks. However, those of that have been paying attention to this can assure you it's good news. Spencer was riding the pine after being selected in the first round all last year. Problem was that C Robbie Tobeck wasn't slowing down, he was actually playing the best ball of his career, and continues to do so. Holmgren opted to let good guy Floyd Porkchop Womack have a shot at the vacated LG spot (see ya Hutch). Womack was a huge disappointment. Spencer has a chance to be special. Easily the best interior lineman in the draft last year. He had an immediate impact in the game yesterday playing very well. I expect this to be a big boost for Alexander and the Seattle offense.

The homer in me says  .

When Womack was still in the game, Cardinals defensive tackle Darnell Dockett had eight of his team-high 12 tackles -- including a sack of quarterback Matt Hasselbeck and two tackles of running back Shaun Alexander behind the line of scrimmage.
EDIT: Wish they would have just made the switch without Womack getting hurt. He genuinely seems to be a nice guy and wouldn't wish injury on him.

I agree pmccurry, you have every right to expect nothing but straight up, spot on, hard news on this board any time you ask a question about anything. After all, you pay a large amount of money to have access to this................what's that? This board is FREE?!?!

Well I'll be....... :bag:

In case it didn't come across clearly enough...... :sarcasm:

Well it would be hard for Spencer to be worse.. right?
