I noticed this when Hill was playing the first time around. He basically did nothing the entire game and barely looked for Megatron until it was too late. Then when things got desperate he dialed in on him and was successful.

That's called strategy by the Detroit coaching staff. Let the other team get the lead and when it's desperation time, get Calvin involved. Working like a charm to the tune of a 2-7 record. Houston seems to do the same with Andre Johnson some weeks. On the flip side, take Seattle. Hasselbeck doesn't care what Q or what the score is, he is getting the ball to his best WR. That's the difference between good coaching staff's and lousy ones.
Also, nice call on that 2pt conversion. How do you not throw a fade or jump ball to Calvin on that play? Instead you have Hill scrambling around like an idiot and eventually throws it out of the endzone.
