I have been beitching about this for well over a year now. The FAIR thing to do is list the player in the position he plays, and often these sites, especially a tool site like CBS has no freakin clue. I'm not a commish, but if I were, I'd list the player at the position he's playing at. I happen to have picked up Bryan Thomas on the Jets, ONLY because I was thinking he'd keep his DE listing. I did that because of league rules.... if there is a loophole, I'll use it as an owner, but I think it's unfair.
A strong commish will KNOW where a player is playing.... and should list him at that position. My best run leagues use the NFL.com depth charts as the final authority, but while that rule prevents disputes, it isn't accurate either. That makes it less than fair. Greg Ellis was just CORRECTLY changed to an Lb at NFL.com. His value plummetted, and yes, i owned him too, but I didn't complain.... the guy is an OLB now.... fact, and fair. Fair is all I'm looking for here..... of he's an LB, he's an LB, period.
