The newsworthy part of his statement was the "outcoached" part, although I have to wonder how you can get outcoached to the tune of 35-0 short of your coach ordering the FG unit onto the field when your opponent is first and 10.if you watched the game, the giants most certainly did get outcoached. sure, there were plenty of mental mistakes by the players on the field, but it was clear that the offense was not prepared for what SEA's defense was throwing at it. and certainly, the NYG defense didn't look prepared to do anything against the SEA passing attack, which minced them up the entire afternoon. it was ugly on both sides of the ball, and i'd say shockey's quote was right on the money. everyone on that team is responsible for the loss, up to and including the coaches...I take it that being down 35-0 means that it was a great revelation that they were "outplayed"?

You are correct saying that irregaurdless is not a word. However, irregardless is a word.
This is where I side. His over-the-top reaction to Randy Moss doing a fake-moon was agitating, but hardly deplorable. What was deplorable was his motive for doing so. I am not naive enough to believe Randy Moss doing a fake-moon was the most 'disgusting thing Joe Buck ever saw'. I just believe it was a classic case of somebody (Joe Buck) trying to step on someone else (Randy Moss) to promote themselves.
