that does seem odd. i can see if they would have gonzalez ranked as the equivalent of maybe a top 30 WR, but not 49 different WRs having better projections for this week. i haven't seen another list that ranks gonzalez lower than the early 30's and ESPN has him ranked #23 among WRs. Don't read too much into that I suppose though...they also have Andre Johnson ranked #48.

I know his projections/rank crept up a bit when Clark was out, and now that he's back and going to get his share of looks, it's possible that's the reason his ranking has drifted downward again.
I was convinced Marv was slipping, and I was ready to project Gonzalez ahead of him with regularity until week 3. While it still looked like Harrison was shying away from contact a bit, he was also getting separation, especially on deep routes, and it was Peyton who was actually off. So I expect the pecking order to back to Wayne-Harrison-Gonzalez/Clark... which means its soon to be a perfect time to pounce on Gonzalez with dynasty league trade offers to his owners.

How high should a #3 WR be ranked? I can't see him among the top-30 until Manning starts really clicking or a bigger target is out. Its entirely reasonable that barring injury to Wayne, Harrison or Clark(possibility) that week 2 will be Gonzalez' best game of the year.
i think fg is off on gonzo. i think he will produce for weeks to come. i dont care if hes slotted as wr 2 or 3 or slot or behind clark on paper. peyton likes him. they have a good repoirte. i see him as a rich mans stokely from years ago.
Exactly. Gonzalez track record is production when Clark or Harrison is out, not so much when they are active.Everybody just had the bye week to get healthy and I'd guuess that Gonzalez will go back to being a secondary weapon on offense.
