i was gonna continue to post in the other greene/ldt threads but since hipple made a new one, i figure its appropriate to further spread out the info.heres a very enthusiastic bump!
Me too. I don't own him, but I'm going to start sniffing around him pretty soon here. I've got LT anyway, so might as well hitch their wagons for the late season push.I think Shonn Greene will come around, either due to an LT injury, or as the weather gets cold and the Jets run more.
I'm going to offer Harvin to the Greene owner this week and see if he bites.Sabertooth said:Me too. Me three. Kudos to LT for playing balls to the wall, but I expect Greene to be the late season push for the Jets.Sabertooth said:Me too. I hear ya on the don't-sell-low take but any concern about Shonn's playoff schedule (MIA, @ PIT, @ CHI)?Just worried I'll be waiting half the season for him to out play LT and then right when he's looking better, he'll run into that buzz saw. Thinking maybe I'm better off "selling low" to someone who thinks they're getting a "steal" from me.Guys. I think its important to note that talent isn't an issue with Greene. The guy is an absolute beast to tackle. He happens to take the bulk of his carries in formations where the opposing defense is expecting the run. He isn't nimble on his feet like LT is but he's got tremendous burst and runs with power. To all the Greene owners out there, and I'm one of them, hang tight.
I'm rolling with him this week over Spiller and LawFirm (since Charles is on a bye and Rice may be injured against the Steelers)Isn't next week the kinda week that Greene will run wild? They should get a big lead (don't think Buffalo can move the ball against them) and I'd expect Greene to get the chew the clock carries, no?
I listened to an L.T. interview on the radio. He said this is the first year in many that he is not recovering from an injury and feels in the best shape of his career. As a Green owner. L.T. burst my bubble. This will be the year L.T. does not break down, and he will have a year like C. Martin had a few years ago when everyone said he was wash up. Green looks like the back with no burst, and playing like he is coming off a major injury.
He did limp off the field, but he was in on the last play of the game dancing around in celebration. Maybe it was just a cramp.I saw him limping off right before they got down by the goal line. Any word on his injury or seriousness of it?
