Back in the 70s, I remember Roger Staubach and the Cowboys being the only team working out of the shotgun regularly. Now, I can't think of a single team off the top of my head which doesn't have some sort of a shotgun package, at least on 3rd down. Washington, maybe? Houston? Miami?

Haven't watched many Seahawks games lately, have you?Since they went to the pass-first offense 6 weeks ago, they use the shotgun package 10-20 times a game. Hasselbeck loves it, Holmgren hates it.

I'm paraphrasing that from an ESPN the Magazine article. It was about 4 weeks ago so things have changed I guess.

Pretty standard for Holmgren...Favre rarely worked out of it when Mike was in GB.
