I would think Metcalf would benefit more from Jimmy G than Lockett. Lockett excelled on broken plays with a connection to Russ. Lockett is great but his bread and butter were broken plays. Jimmy G won't give him that.

They are both very good WR with very bad QB. Rising tide lifts all ships.

I don't think you can catch 100 passes on all broken plays. He is a pretty great receiver in his own right

I agree. My point was that he excels at broken plays and Jimmy G isn't going to help him there.
