If Miami's going wildcat I think Ricky's startable this week. Has anyone heard anything about the Miami's practices this week? Do they plan on going wildcat like last year or will they use Thigpen in a similar way they used the Chads so far this season?
Not so sure. After the second Chad was hurt last week. They ran 3 or 4 wildcat plays until they brought Thigpen is. My gut tells me they would have ran more if they planned for it during the week.

Only reason they did this then was because they didn't want to bring Thigpen in before the 4th quarter due to the NFL rules. There is a lot of talk about the wildcat coming back this week against the Bears. It would relieve some of the pressure on Thigpen, and everyone assumes the Bear havn't really prepared for it. Up until last week the wildcat wasn't very successful for Miami and it was primarily Ronnie Brown taking it up the middle. When they started incorporating Ricky again it was much, much better.I think they'll go for it tonight, how much we see of it remains to be seen but I definitely think they'll bring it out.
They actually put it in Saturday (e.g., wasn't part of the original or primary game plan); they only ran it once before Henne got hurt. The last two plays they ran in the third quarter, Ricky gained 14 and 23 out of the WC.
I think a lot of people feel like Thiggy doesn't have enough reps with the first team, and with the short week, it might make sense to WC it somewhat. But TT is fairly capable, and looked great in the 4th quarter last week.
In general I would expect the Bears D to handle the wildcat well. But who knows, theyve certainly had their share of frustrating issues on short weeks under Lovie before.
