From the soundtrack:
My Sister's Tiny Hands by the Handsome Family. My introduction to this band.
The Last Kind Words by David Johansen
First There Was by Johnny Dowd. Lo-Fi country
... And my favorite thing of all, interviews with Harry Crews. If I could have dinner with three people, past and present, I would choose @wikkidpissah, Christopher Hitchens, and Harry Crews.
Probably Hejira for me with the great Jaco.Free Man in Paris was my favorite, but I've since settled on Carey. Raised on Robbery would round out my top 3.
There's not a lot of material on Harry Crews. It kills me that there are *NO* audio versions of his novels with him reading.Honored. Gotta give points for the geography alone. Don't know Mr Crews - will now - but i'd revert my time to have Hitch back on this earth. I'll bring the XO.
The highest praise I can put on the song is that it is probably the best Bob Seger song. Kinda like being the best Cleveland Browns draft pick.217. Bob Seger - Night Moves
One of the greatest driving-down-the-highway-at-night-with-your-windows-down songs.
So wrong here Seger’s great. Fire Lake, Main Street, Beautiful Loser, Turn the Page amongst others are great songs. The highest praise I can put on the song is that it is probably the best Bob Seger song. Kinda like being the best Cleveland Browns draft pick.
hell ya it is ...214. T. Rex - 20th Century boy
Such a great underrated band. Hard to pick one song. Also heavily considered: Mambo Sun, Children Of The Revolution
Not going to complain - but I'd sure take Turn the Page or Beautiful Loser over the choice. Maybe even the cover "Nutbush City Limits"So wrong here Seger’s great. Fire Lake, Main Street, Beautiful Loser, Turn the Page amongst others are great songs.
Get Outta Denver and Ramblin' Gamblin' Man also better than Night Moves, imo.Not going to complain - but I'd sure take Turn the Page or Beautiful Loser over the choice. Maybe even the cover "Nutbush City Limits"
I feel that same way about Roll Me Away, which is probably my favorite of his.217. Bob Seger - Night Moves

Seger seems pretty cool and I like that on his most recent cd he included a photo of the street made for his friend Glenn Frey.I'm from Michigan so I am biased but Night Moves is the perfect summer night song and Live Bullet is a good album.

it's been awhile, but one of the last i attended featured ossified best man sliding out in the tighty whiteys clutching a magnum of champage - using the bottle as his "mic" - ghastly, to say the least - look, i'm all for drunken monkey shines, but, c'mon - this was ####### embarrassing, and will forever live on due to pro videographers present that day.You ever been to a wedding reception where this came on? Horrible.
And on that day, a little bit of your youth died. Not because you'd lived it before, it just did.ossified best man sliding out in the tighty whiteys clutching a magnum of champage - using the bottle as his "mic" - ghastly, to say the least
