I think there was some shared surprised I hadn't posted Mudhoney yet, but they really aren't my thing. However, this song is really good, due to both that riff that's repeated 4x right at the beginning and the harmonica.

I felt like I was transported to the age of 17 and I'm hearing some great song from the 60's for the first time on the Reelin' In The Years syndicated radio show on a Saturday morning.

This would have been around '90, so a lot of the songs they played on this show were from the late 60's. So about 25 years. That's like kids listening to a show today about "classic rock" from the year 2000.

@landrys hat posted something by Metric in the MAD theme thread, but I don't remember which song, I just noted I needed to check them out. My son played Dead Disco while he was driving us home from a concert, and I dug it. Listened to more this week, and love On A Slow Night.

I don't know if this is the official video for this song or not, or if it was fan-made. Either way it is absolutely mesmerizing. Every clip in this looks real enough but something slightly off, like it's all AI-generated. But this was posted like 15 years ago.
