Adalius Thomas, New England???

Has he been a "bust"?

Most of the list is pretty bad, so it's a typical SI list. I'm sure a TSN list would be much better, as usual.

I agree with;

Brown(NO)

McNeil(SD)

Bullucks(NO)

Benson(CHI)

Evans(BUF)

Evans(BUF)
As bad as he was in the first month or so......he ended up having a decent fantasy season (#24 in my league). There were other WRs who were bigger busts than Evans (S. Moss, C. Chambers, J. Porter, T. Williamson, D. Jackson).

I dont agree with Billick or Rivers on that list. Billick hasn't had a decent QB all year, and Rivers has Norv Turner filling his head with dancing sugar plumbs (not to mention O-Line problems all season). Right now, Rivers is QB 14 on the FBG YTD Stats.

Surely Leinart or Delhomme was a bigger bust if you're putting injured players up there. Delhomme got off to a great start, but that ended 3 weeks in. We all saw leinart this year. Bulger could be on the Bust list too.

Evans(BUF)

All the guys you mention were injured with the exception of Chambers, and he changed teams mid-season.I'm an Evans fan but he hasn't had nearly the year most of us(including myself) expected.

Philip Rivers is a bigger bust than Matt Leinart?
I think it's because Leinart was hurt. I don't know how by any measure you say Rivers is a bigger bust than Vince Young though. I don't expect SI to do very good work but in the case of comparing QB's they don't even have to dig very deep to make the comparisons. You would think even CBSSportsline would do a better job than this list.

I'm a big Andy Reid fan but I think you'd have to list him in the "bust" category along with Billick(another coach I really like). PHI has played without McNabb before but usually done much, much better and they flushed an MVP-type performance by Westbrook down the toilet this season. He's had off-field issues to contend with but you have to judge him by what's happened on the field.

I like PHI/BAL and both coaches and expect them to bounce back but expectations were very high for those two franchises. Shanny should get consideration there as well. He has had a lot of injuries(seems like every team has this year) but the reason they are losing this year is the exact same reason they lost last year and he still hasn't fixed it. If anything the big problem they had last year has only gotten worse despite the FA $ and draft picks spent to fix the problem.

Anyone one who has regularly watched Niner games knows that Nate Clement is the opposite of a bust. He has been one of the few bright spots this season.

Evans(BUF)

He's piss poor for fantasy. And you did not have use near as early of pick for Moss/Chambers/Porter/Williamson?/Jackson as you did with Lee Evans.

Billick has never had a decent QB and he's won in the past. I do think he might have dropped to 3rd with Bobby Petrino knocking him out of the dishonorable mention spot. However if the Ravens lost to the Dolphins this week then Billick deserves to jump up to the top spot.

Steve Smith?
I know alot has to do with QB play but Steve is arguably the best WR in the NFL and not even on the charts this year. And like others mentioned alot of those "busts" are guys whom have been injured. To me Smith is a much bigger bust than Lee Evans.
TOTALLY agree. I have him, and know very well that he was a COLOSSAL bust this year.

If that's the criteria then the WR bust has to be Steve Smith. Smith was the 1st or 2nd WR off the boards and has been terrible this year. I realize Carolina's QB situtation has been horrible but Buffalo's hasn't been much better.
