He's been down on Addai all along - which is fine - he has a right to his opinion. However, I can't see how Addai is worth less than Marion Barber in a dynasty league.Cool, didn't know where to find this before. I'm shocked at how low Addai is here, especially compared with Maroney and Deuce McAllister. It seems like Addai is on a fast track to the Indy starting job, while Maroney looks like he'll split until he surpasses Dillon, and Deuce looks like the only way he'll be good long term is if Bush continues to get the same number of carries or he ends up getting a starting gig elsewhere. Any thoughts on this?

I agree, Sig's hard work is definitely appreciated. I'm just curious why no other staff member has been doing any updates. Thanks Sig for updating those Dynasty rankings so often. You are a monster asset to the FBG.
My CommentsI'll try and update this week.I agree, Sig's hard work is definitely appreciated.

This is good stuff, and worthy of more attention. Has FBGs considered having other staff members contribute to the rankings? With only two staff members contributing to the rankings, there is so much variance that it's difficult to place much faith in the average rankings. For example, consider these three rankings:22 RB LaMont Jordan, OAK 40 11 25.523 RB Willie Parker, PIT 17 38 27.524 RB Kevin Jones, DET 14 42 28.0There are some big differences in projections and perception there. More staff contributing to the analysis would be more helpful to the average FBG in gauging the rankings.
I just don't see Addai as more than an RBBC back, and I think his draft stock got way overinflated. If he continues to play the way he did last week, he'll start to move up my rankings - he showed some moves and running instincts that I hadn't seen so far this year. I like Maroney to take over in NE next year and put up top 10 numbers for a LONG time. Deuce is producing a high RB2 level, and I expect him to be a feature back somewhere else before his career is over. He finally looks like the 2003 Deuce again.Cool, didn't know where to find this before. I'm shocked at how low Addai is here, especially compared with Maroney and Deuce McAllister. Barber was excellent as a feature back when Julius Jones went down last year. He's a good receiver and short yardage runner, and I expect him to be a feature back at some point in his career. As it stands right now, he's already a useful RB3, with about 9 PPG under FBG scoring, only 3 less than Julius. That gap shrinks in PPR leagues. Barber and Addai have almost identical PPG thus far, and I see their opportunity being similar for the rest of the season. I have hesitated to buy into the idea that Addai becomes a 20-25 touch per game back next year, but as I said above, if he keeps running like he did vs. the Skins, I'll revise that opinion -which would mean Addai's ETA would move ahead of Barber's, and give him more value in dynasty leagues. He's been down on Addai all along - which is fine - he has a right to his opinion. My problem with Deuce is that I'm afraid the Saints will keep winning this year, and try to keep Deuce and Bush together for the next couple years. That makes Deuce valuable, but not a guy you can confidently play each week as Bush looks to take on a bigger role in the offense, because his upside is capped by the RBBC. He's not a guy you can confidently keep from year to year unless you hear rumors that they're looking to trade/cut him. His trade value is going to be fairly low, too, because he is mired in RBBC for now. So it seems like a guy you'd like to avoid, or a guy you should be trying to acquire more cheaply than what you have in the list. I also think Addai has shown more than what you're saying, and has more of the confidence of the Colts than you seem to think. I don't think the Colts want to be RBBC in the long run, although in the short term I think they're going to continue to use both backs. I understand the argument that you should look at talent over situation, but in the case of Manning, that offensive line, the improvement of the defense, the lack of improvement of the division, and the history, I think you have to put him in the top 15-20 players in the NFL in terms of his chance to be in the top 5 RBs next year. That makes him very valuable to me.I just don't see Addai as more than an RBBC back, and I think his draft stock got way overinflated. good one, i forgot to reflect his unequivocal public comments - although tiki is not a good player for rankings right now, because teams that are out of it want nothing to do with him, but teams that are in the running for a title would value him highly - after all, FF is all about winning titles.tiki pretty high sinces he out next yearnice rankings though
He requested Westbrook and a 1st (projected 6th pick)for Maroney and a 2nd (projected 13th pick).I declined, thanks in part to Sig's advice.Jeff Pasquino said:how do you know you have the 6th pick already?Depends on your Dynasty Factor.Ron_Mexico said:Sig,Would I be insane to trade away the 6th pick in next year's rookie draftalong with Westbrook, for the 13th pick and Maroney, in a nonPPR stndard scoring league ?I would actually be holding the #1 or 2 pick as well.thxI just don't see Addai as more than an RBBC back, and I think his draft stock got way overinflated.
