Holy crap. You should have titled this "Ask me nothing. I only have questions."No alias. It's me.
What is an Eiffel Tower? Should I just ask them for one? Or do I need to lead up to that.
Oh, and any tips on explaining baseball to them is appreciated.
It's a game played by mostly white people, and the fans yell racist comments and throw things at the black players.Oh, and any tips on explaining baseball to them is appreciated.
are you in town... at palmeras?Only got about 45 minutes before I meet a nice French couple for drinks.
Just a Coke. Will be drinking tequila soon. What are you drinking? How many people are there? Why wasn't Rex Grossman a better quarterback? Is it hot?
With their limited English and my non-existent French, I think I'll just have to demonstrate for them and say, "Ees okay?"An Eiffel Tower is when the chick is giving oral to a guy while another guy is entering her from behind. While this is happening, the two guys will high five, thus making an "Eiffel Tower"
Scratch this. Solid 8 in a short little dress just went by.Hottest chick a solid 6. Looks European.
Sitting at the Thirsty Cougar right now. Any cougar so far has been . . . unimpressive.are you in town... at palmeras?
go to El Buccanos for dinner and/or drinks... soooo good and a nice spot.
we were just there a couple weeks ago... nicest water around.
Met them on the dive-bombing boat yesterday. Drinks and then dinner at some locals joint with authentic Mexican away from the tourist area (per the dive shop owner). Hope to come back with both kidneys. How do you know these people? What are your plans with them?
And here by myself for a dive trip while the wife stays home to cook up the next baby due in July. My last chance for awhile. So you are single and meeting up with a French couple. How do you know these people? Are you just meeting for drinks or dinner as well.
What are you doing down there by yourself?
sounds likeSitting at the Thirsty Cougar right now. Any cougar so far has been . . . unimpressive.
At this point I'm interested in becoming a dive instructor. Not much money, but these dudes live a pretty cool life.Any decent jobs in Cozumel?
Dude, if a couple wants to meet up with a single person on a lark in a tropical vacation area, they are looking to get freaky.Met them on the dive-bombing boat yesterday. Does this French couple go by the names of Ron and Ice by any chance?Dude, if a couple wants to meet up with a single person on a lark in a tropical vacation area, they are looking to get freaky.
Oh, it's a total tourist trap on the main drag that faces the water. But I needed something to kill the time by the ocean and check out the talent.sounds likea greatthe wrong place to go in mexico.
we also liked Casa Mission for food, fwiw. also in town.
buccanos is just north from town, near playa azul (where we stayed). hotel b on the same beach has a good spot for drinks too.
This is starting to fall in place for me now. They pronounce it "Roan" and "Ees".Does this French couple go by the names of Ron and Ice by any chance?

Been diving the past five days, and will have time tomorrow to check out the other places. Will see if I can make Buccanos.
Tomorrow - scooter rental. Hope I don't die.
No caves - they're all over on the Yucatan coast. Reefs look great to me.You do any caves there? Are any of those reefs bleaching?
Seen a lot of this - little tiny babies. Scares the crap out of me just watching it.lol.
love how the locals put the whole family on the scooters... youngster in the front, dad driving, mom in the back holding a baby or two bare-handed.
no caves the wife used to come here with her mexican dad in the 70s... I've only been coming in the last 15 years or so, and don't dive. what she describes in terms of sea-life and reefs right along the shore has all been gone since that time (dolphins, turtles, baracuda, endless fishes right along the waterfront). but the water is as clear as anywhere I've ever been (lots of water spots) and even though it's not abundant any more, the sea life that's still there along the shore- and especially the clarity- is great. You do any caves there? I think there are fresh water diving caves... at least I thought so. Maybe not on the island, but on the peninsula, right?no caves the wife used to come here with her mexican dad in the 70s... the diving must be incredible.
wear rubbersWish me bon chance. I'll check back in if I'm still alive.
yeah- up and down from Playa del carmen down to Tulum... cenotes. I've only been to one to snorkel in... gorgeous. I imagine diving them would be insane.I think there are fresh water diving caves... at least I thought so. Maybe not on the island, but on the peninsula, right?
I did some freshwater cave diving, but it wasn't in a tropical area, still really cool (high turbidity though). I really wanna go the yucatan peninsula to do some cave diving. I've been told it's a sublime feeling.yeah- up and down from Playa del carmen down to Tulum... cenotes. I've only been to one to snorkel in... gorgeous. I imagine diving them would be insane.
