Sitting at a corner bar in Cozumel. Ask me anything. (1 Viewer)

May have to unpack "cuck" for me. But I'll take a stab and assume something similar to an AZ Ron type of scenario. Nothing like that planned.

I'm guessing from the alias you will be doing the railing in your 3-way?  I'm guessing since they're French there's a chance for an Eiffel Tower?

What are you drinking? How many people are there? Why wasn't Rex Grossman a better quarterback? Is it hot?

No alias. It's me.

What is an Eiffel Tower? Should I just ask them for one? Or do I need to lead up to that.

Oh, and any tips on explaining baseball to them is appreciated.

Holy crap.  You should have titled this "Ask me nothing.  I only have questions."

An Eiffel Tower is when the chick is giving oral to a guy while another guy is entering her from behind. While this is happening, the two guys will high five, thus making an "Eiffel Tower"

Only got about 45 minutes before I meet a nice French couple for drinks.
are you in town... at palmeras?

go to El Buccanos for dinner and/or drinks... soooo good and a nice spot.

we were just there a couple weeks ago... nicest water around.

Just a Coke. Will be drinking tequila soon.

Grossman played for Chicago. So there's that. That's all I got.

Low 80's with a nice breeze from the East.

So you are single and meeting up with a French couple.  How do you know these people?  Are you just meeting for drinks or dinner as well.

What are you doing down there by yourself?

With their limited English and my non-existent French, I think I'll just have to demonstrate for them and say, "Ees okay?"

Sitting at the Thirsty Cougar right now. Any cougar so far has been . . . unimpressive.

How do you know these people? What are your plans with them?
Met them on the dive-bombing boat yesterday. Drinks and then dinner at some locals joint with authentic Mexican away from the tourist area (per the dive shop owner). Hope to come back with both kidneys.

And here by myself for a dive trip while the wife stays home to cook up the next baby due in July. My last chance for awhile.

sounds like a great the wrong place to go in mexico.

we also liked Casa Mission for food, fwiw. also in town.

buccanos is just north from town, near playa azul (where we stayed). hotel b on the same beach has a good spot for drinks too.

Dude, if a couple wants to meet up with a single person on a lark in a tropical vacation area, they are looking to get freaky.

If the dudes name is Michael and he tells you he wants to rub your "stuff" on him I suggest having dinner alone.

Oh, it's a total tourist trap on the main drag that faces the water. But I needed something to kill the time by the ocean and check out the talent.

Been diving the past five days, and will have time tomorrow  to check out the other places. Will see if I can make Buccanos.

Tomorrow - scooter rental. Hope I don't die.

lol.

love how the locals put the whole family on the scooters... youngster in the front, dad driving, mom in the back holding a baby or two bare-handed.

Seen a lot of this - little tiny babies. Scares the crap out of me just watching it.

You do any caves there?  Are any of those reefs bleaching?
no caves the wife used to come here with her mexican dad in the 70s... I've only been coming in the last 15 years or so, and don't dive. what she describes in terms of sea-life and reefs right along the shore has all been gone since that time (dolphins, turtles, baracuda, endless fishes right along the waterfront). but the water is as clear as anywhere I've ever been (lots of water spots) and even though it's not abundant any more, the sea life that's still there along the shore- and especially the clarity- is great.

the diving must be incredible.

eta: sorry- thought I was responding to Rail

I think there are fresh water diving caves... at least I thought so.  Maybe not on the island, but on the peninsula, right?

yeah- up and down from Playa del carmen down to Tulum... cenotes. I've only been to one to snorkel in... gorgeous. I imagine diving them would be insane.

I did some freshwater cave diving, but it wasn't in a tropical area, still really cool (high turbidity though).  I really wanna go the yucatan peninsula to do some cave diving.  I've been told it's a sublime feeling.
