Sitting your hurting starters against a weak opponent... (1 Viewer)

Would you risk losing an "easy" game to rest your starters for a more difficult game?

With Philly's #2 and #3 CBs injured and what seems to be a sure win against Green Bay, would it be wise on Reid's part to sit Lito and Hood and allow them to heal before their big division game against Dallas in Week 5?

I know Green Bay showed some spunk last game and the offense is showing some signs of life. Would it be dumb to underestimate Green Bay or take the risk of a loss to have healthy corners against Dallas? We've seen numerous times that the coverage of Hanson and Wynn is suspect and a serious downgrade from Lito and Hood.

This idea of resting Lito and Hood was suggested on an Eagle's board and I was just wondering what the Sharks here think. The division game is definitely more important but a win is a win... what would you do if you were in Reid's shoes?

I hope we rest them. We'll get plenty of picks from Favre either way. :banned: :banned:
