SUPER ELITE UPPER TIER

I'm not sure about this one. Normally, I love roller coasters, but this one brings back memories of the Wild Mouse. And that ride can go #### itself. Hard. :hot: Either way, this is still pretty cool looking. Scheduled to open in 2017.

That looks very cool, but what do you have against the Wild Mouse?

It was one of the most frightening rides I've ever been on. Looked so easy. Nothing to it. Not even that high. Each time we whipped around a corner, I was sure that was the final seconds of my life. We were probably 3 stories high yet it felt about 130 stories high. I kissed the ground when we got off of that ride.

Not sure what was different. Hardly any roller coasters have ever scared me. But that did.

Practical question, when the thing inevitably jams, as coasters will do from time to time, how does the fire department evac from the top loops?
I assume to the "tube" that runs up the center of it. The same way window washers would be rescued from a skyscraper.

Doesn't look scary, just terrible.

I said the same thing. Boy, was I wrong. That video doesn't give you any idea how terrifying it is.

Just read what the comments:

It looked babyish from the ground, but I went on it w/ my neice. It felt like you were going off the freaking track at every turn and I almost #### myself.

Not for me. I've rode all kinds of coasters, including Kingda Ka. And none have scared me like the Wild Mouse. #### that.

They have one of these in Illinois too, called the Ragin' Cajun:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YJ9pqmuClPs

Fun ride.

My window to enjoy roller coasters closed about 10 years ago. It doesn't look particularly dramatic or exciting other than just being up really high.

Those rides that take "open" corners like that are indeed terrifying. There's one like that wild mouse ride at disneyland and I wont go on it. It's not the speed, its the way it takes corners.

1:36

... noooooooooope. #### that. Out.
1:36 what?
1:36 in the video. That slow, lazy barrel roll at the top of the tower.
THAT'S what gets you?
Upside down is fine, as long as it's fast enough that by the time your brain can process what's happening, you're right side up again. Just kind of gradually rolling over like that, being able to look up at the ground so far away and really see it in the moment, that would freak me the ### out.

Same here. I saw the rating as a very high one on the "intense" meter at Hershey, and when I saw the ride itself, I was confused, as it looked quite tame. I got on it with my 7 year old son and 9 year old nephew, and after the first turn yelled out OH ####!! as loud as can be as it totally took me by surprise, and the lack of a railing combined with the feeling of being hurtled forward was crazy.
