With the bye weeks kicking in, several good D's are not in action. Who do you like as a sleeper Defense/Special Teams this week?I'm leaning towards New Orleans at home vs San Fran. Yes, the pickings are slim in my league.
I wanted Carolina, but they got scooped off waivers.
I don't think SF is bad at all, just looking for home teams as I think they do better. The road matchup I could play is AZ @ Jets. And the 3rd viable option is Tampa Bay at home vs GB. That may be the one.

Because they have given up 13 sacks in 3 games.Because they have turned the ball over 4 times in 3 games.Yes, SF is better than they once were...but in a bye week where a guy might need a defense with slim pickens...its not a bad option just for those things (if you get points for them). If it adds special teams, even better if Bush is back there on punts still as he can always break one.

I know they have looked horrible thus far (albeit with two of those games against decent offenses in SD and NO), but you can't discount the Denver D/ST this week against the hapless Chiefs. I think I would go with Denver before going with New Orleans. I know Huard is likely starting this week (obviously Thigpen playing would be better for Denver), but the Chiefs are just plain horrible.
I was looking at both Den and Car this week, decided to go with Car because I think they have a better defense in general and the matchup is just as sweet. If Huard starts I would expect as many turnovers as with Thigpen.
I am going with the Texans this week. Jacksonville's OL is hurting and could result in many sacks / ff. Also if you get points for special teams, Andre Davis is due for a run back. So far they have been horrible, but I think this is the week they turn it around.
I have a dilemma. An owner in my league for some reason dropped the Dal D. I have the Car D. If I can get the Dal D wouls they be a better play at home against Wash or would Car still be a better play at home against Atl?
