SNL is Friggin' Horrible! Except when Timberlake is hosting. (2 Viewers)

The TNT and White people problems was good. Everything else has been unwatchable.

When your joke is that there is no punchline... Its not funny. SNL has been playing this card for so long, I can only assume the writers suck and its time filler.

The NBA on TNT skit had a ton of potential with the black dude playing Barkley and Barkley playing anybody yet it sucked hard. I think alot of the cast could be funny as hell but the writers and most skits are awful.

Barkley Making fun of Mike Shanahan was amazing. That comment alone was worth DVRing it. I wouldn't be surprised if Barkley came up with that on his own.

Lots of people tuning in to watch Barkley and you lead with that Santorum skit? That and Armisen on Weekend Update were just exasperating.

I do think Jay Pharoah is going to be a big star. His facial expressions just crack me up. They got to start inlcuding and writing more stuff for him.

Yeah that was all bad. I knew Chuck would be clumsy but was hoping for a little funny.

Fred Armisen go do your bad hipster show on another network and stop ruining Weekend Update.

I think I'm done with SNL for a while. As crazy as it sounds, it's actually gotten worse since Will Forte left.

White People Problems was decent. I think I fell asleep during the next sketch. From the comments I'm glad I didn't try to power through the show.

I thought the TNT skit was good. I really, really want SNL to be decent again!
Me, too. Not hopeful, though, as long as Michaels is there. An old man cant and neednt foster the dynamic tension necessary for the "hot" comedy the format requires, no matter how good his eye for talent. They've yet to recover from the 30 Rock braindrain & i wonder if they ever will.

Why do they insist on ruining their only funny skit (Weekend Update) with terribly unfunny 'guests'? I can't remember a good one in years.

I know it's Lorne's brainchild, but I'm surprised he hasn't moved on to something else by now. My hunch, which is no more informed than anybody else, is that he'll eventually offer the show to Tina Fey. If she wants it.Also...ten pounds of #### in a five pound bag.

I thought up until this weekend (which I haven't seen yet), this year has been pretty damn solid. Melissa McCarthy, Ben Stiller, Charlie Day, Emma Stone, Steve Buscemi were all funny shows.

The clubkid that comes on WU is the funniest thing on TV. Last night's comic-who-never-says-anything was pretty good when they used to use him like Stefon, to regularly crack up the anchor. If they'd framed it to reference the GOP debaters saying just as little as him, it would have worked nicely.

I was surprised at how nervous Chuck looked in his monologue. Guy seems so comfortable elsewhere and he already hosted SNL twice.

Don't think I've seen the clubkid. Armisen was terrible last night. Maybe its just me, but I don't find a guy looking at a newspaper and stammering funny.

It was framed better when it was a regular thing and had the audience excited wondering how long he could keep it up. It got the recurring-character rehash last nite & didnt work at all. And to respond more to your original question, they've always used WU guests for good characters for which they cant find a proper sketch structure.

Why is Kristen Wig in every single sketch? Sorry, she's hot but she plays the same clueless woman in every skit.

She's go to be riding one of the decision makers over there.

Terrible show - Santorum opening was not even remotely entertaining.

TNT was decent. I like the fat black kid - he's been doing sketch comedy since he was 11 years old (All That) and I think he's pretty good. After that - I just don't know why I watch any more.

I've never cared for Wiig's one trick pony. She's awkward...and out of touch...woo hoo...genius.

Stefon is the funniest thing going.

He's got the weird clubkid act down (much like Lady Gaga) but the thing that really makes it is that the clubnames are made up without Hader knowing...he has to come out there and read what's on the queue card and try to remain in character. It's hilarious to watch him struggle without busting up laughing. Then...there's the times when the clubname is all he gets and he has to impromptu what the atmosphere of the club is like. It's awesome television and will probably end up a movie at some point...with them reviving the Roxbury guys in cameo at one of the clubs and/or the Ladie's man in a booth surrounded by ladies of some insane club we see Stefon partying in...

Feel like I'm missing sarcasm here.

That Target sketch was the least funny thing I've ever seen. And I'll say it again, I'm sick of Kristen Wig.

Worst first 30 minutes of SNL I've seen and that's saying something. Switching it off.

Its still on here, but I stopped paying attention. HOW can they not get better writers?

Jimmy Fallon's "Tebowie" skit crushed an entire episode of SNL.

Perhaps their is a reason, but on Morning Joe you never see a replay of an SNL skit while routinely seeing Jimmy Fallon one's, among others.
