What a voice on this guy. Is he popular? (I don't get out much). My darling Joan.![]()
Extremely. He hosts "the voice" and is married to Miranda Lambert. His songs aren't bad either for what they are, including this one. What a voice on this guy. Is he popular? (I don't get out much). My darling Joan.![]()
His best song (imp) is "Honeybee". It's far from deep, but it's catchy and the lyrics are clever.I don't like country music but a guy with pipes like that could get me to like it.
He's good. Don't like it either but most of his hits I enjoy.I don't like country music but a guy with pipes like that could get me to like it.
He hosts a reality show and is personable. He did not win a show to get here.Yeah, he does pretty cheesy country music. I think he won some reality show to get famous, but he can sing and he has a great sense of humor.
You are right, his wife did. My bad.He hosts a reality show and is personable. He did not win a show to get here.Yeah, he does pretty cheesy country music. I think he won some reality show to get famous, but he can sing and he has a great sense of humor.
merle haggard?I saw one of the older country stars on FOX News a couple months ago. He didn't sing, but my GOD what a voice. The country version of Barry White. Older guy, mustache. Any idea who it might be?
Nope. Merle is 77. This guy is maybe 60-ish.Fariq said:merle haggard?Raider Nation said:I saw one of the older country stars on FOX News a couple months ago. He didn't sing, but my GOD what a voice. The country version of Barry White. Older guy, mustache. Any idea who it might be?
To be literal...she didn't win the show she was on.Ilov80s said:You are right, his wife did. My bad.Abraham said:He hosts a reality show and is personable. One of the Gatlin brothers is always on FOX.Raider Nation said:I saw one of the older country stars on FOX News a couple months ago. He didn't sing, but my GOD what a voice. The country version of Barry White. Older guy, mustache. Any idea who it might be?
yeah,,I don't know then. I don't much follow that type of music.Nope. Merle is 77. Ol' Red, Some Beach, Austin, and Hillybilly Bone are pretty good ones too. I'm liking his new album so far with the two songs he did on saturday night. His best song (imp) is "Honeybee". It's far from deep, but it's catchy and the lyrics are clever.I don't like country music but a guy with pipes like that could get me to like it.
it wasn't nearly as good as people in here were making it out to be, but I think expectations were extremely low.Watched the Blake Shelton one...was probably affected by early reports on here about its quality.
was left wondering what was so good...just meh in my opinion.
It was pretty bad. I think I chuckled twice during the Farm Hunk thing and maybe once during Weekend Update (and absolutely not when that one fat dude did his shtick. He's horrible).it wasn't nearly as good as people in here were making it out to be, but I think expectations were extremely low.Watched the Blake Shelton one...was probably affected by early reports on here about its quality.

I was actually sad during the weekend update. The kid with the gay pron part was funny and he's really the main reason I watch anymore. Family Feud was funny. Didn't like much else IIRC. Too bad.The only part I really laughed at was the bad Steven Tyler impression.
Beecher has to show up.J.K. Simmons hosts tonight. Finally, someone I like.
Hoping against hope for an Oz skit.
It might be a challenge for the writers to work around the burning of a swastika on the buttocks, or the dump on the face. There's not much of that Schillinger/Toby storyline they can touch, even on late-night TV.
I could probably recite 90% of that Bears superfans Jeopardy sketch and still laughed along with it.The Peyton Manning United Way ad was my favorite of the clips they showed last night. It's one of my favorite SNL ads in the history of the entire show. The hour-long "sports-themed sketches" that aired just before this new episode was absolutely hilarious. Especially the Robert Smigel short with Tom Brady about sexual harassment in the workplace.
I thought he was great. Not surprised to see the ranged he displayed, enjoyed how well he did whether alone on camera or part of an ensemble piece.I appreciate the actors who actually take this gig seriously. Simmons could teach De Niro a thing or three about reading cue cards.
McKinnon relies on staring into the camera and buggig her eyes out a bit more than I would like, but that's less prevalent now than when she started on the show. Extraordinary talent.
The "Casablanca" skit was awesome. Best in a long while. If you are a fan of the movie, it really nailed a lot of the absurdities of that last scene.
Kate McKinnon is elevating into the all-time top tier. She's great in every skit. I know she grazes on the other side of the fence, but still I am in love with her.
I wasn't sad about O'Brien demoted back to the writers' room, but that Jay-Z film was great and O'Brien was great in it.Solid episode JK really sold every skit he was in. Loved the Jay-Z film.
Are there really Japanese messy boys?
45k to eat a meatball parm? Count me in!I wasn't sad about O'Brien demoted back to the writers' room, but that Jay-Z film was great and O'Brien was great in it.Solid episode JK really sold every skit he was in. Loved the Jay-Z film.

I have no idea if there really are Japanese messy boys, but my reaction was similar to the other adults at that career day.
Definitely...the bug eyed, flared nostril thing was wearing thin with me...but she's coming into her own now.Bruce Dickinson said:McKinnon relies on staring into the camera and buggig her eyes out a bit more than I would like, but that's less prevalent now than when she started on the show. I dunno, the Peyton Manning United Way skit is one of my all-time favorites. Though the Tebow one is up there.Solid episode top to bottom...not much to put in for best skits of the year but decent humor all the way through.
Che still can't read. Every week he makes a misread. Should just play it up and make it part of his "character" by now.
My favorite from the football episode will always be the Tebow sketch. My God that thing is masterful from top to bottom...all the way through...perfection.
Hopefully Che will figure this out. He is talented and has a good sense of timing. Jost is weak.TheIronSheik said:Terrible episode. And that one dimensional girl from a Rom Com on the news is horrible. It was terrible the first time and I can't believe they brought it back for a second try. I like the guys who do the news, but the black guy really needs to rehearse more. Has there been an episode yet where he hasn't blown his lines? It's a shame, because when he's on, he's very funny.
