So.... Does Bush's Ranking Finally Come Down To Earth? (1 Viewer)

I have said it before and I will say it again:Reggie Bush will WRECK many fantasy teams this year because people are reaching for him late first/early second. At that position of the draft, there is no way for you to follow up with another capable running back. More than likely, all of the capable backs will be snatched up through the rest of the second and all of the third until the draft gets back to you.If you want to win your league this year, you will not draft Bush that early.
:goodposting: You'll do yourself a favor if you listen to this advice. If you're in one of my leagues, ignore what Bristol said.
Completely disagree, He was all over the field last night. You have got to like the fact that you saw him spread wide and in the backfield...

What do you think of my RB stable then? I drafted Bush at 1.04, mind you this was an initial dynasty and I wanted him on my team. I tried trading down two to three spots, but had no takers. I found out those owners actually wanted Bush LOL!I ended up with Bush, DeShaun Foster, Addai, Kevan Barlow, Morency. I really think that's an excellent setup for dynasty.

Dynasty and keeper leagues are different animals. Most of the people are taking him in redrafts at the end of the first or beginning of the second. This is fantasy suicide.I think youare pretty set for dynasty.

I hope this slows the hype down enough for him to drop to me in the mid-3rd. I'm sure a lot of people just looked at his stats and the fact that Deuce started.

I have decided that I am taking Holt instead in the mid-2nd.

:fingerscrossed:
For me, the "Perfect Draft" scenario would be securing a top 3 spot, grabbing another top-15 RB in the 2nd round OR a top-3 WR, and then nabbing Bush in the 3rd round on the turn. But what I'm seeing a lot more of is someone grabbing a RB in the latter part of the 1st round, and then grabbing Bush in the turn in the early 2nd...and to me that really puts you behind the 8-ball as long as the elite RBs in the top 3 stay healthy.
Didn't I just say this already (see above)? I agree 100%, but most people on this board don't want to live in reality.
Reality is that not all drafts run exactly the same. Someone high on Gates may take him in the first round. For example, in my draft I know my league drafts RB heavy and I also knew from talking to people Bush would go in round 2.
I'm sorry to hear that you play with morons.
That's just unnecessary Bristol. When looking at somewhere around the 15th RB off the board and deciding between Bush or guys like K.Jones, J.Jones, C.Taylor, Droughns, D.Davis, W.Parker, J.Lewis, Dunn, M.Bell etc. I can see it being a difficult choice.
Particularly if the format is a keeper/dynasty league. Bush may not be an immediate impact right now but having him locked up for years is pretty tempting....
I agree that keeper/dyansty leagues are different.
