So how much ADP can you take ... (1 Viewer)

ADP is probably the only player left in many leagues for his week.

I'm up 32 in our first round game thanks to Romo failing - but he still has ADP. That takes about 3 deep TD's in out league.

<<slid in the playoffs w/out any Brady/moss/romo in either league - and might go to the Superbowl in both

I'm down 24 as I write this. I'm really hoping for a repeat performance of Peterson tomorrow night against Chicago. However, he's splitting carries with Taylor pretty heavily. I don't see anymore than maybe 120 yards and 2 TDs tomorrow for Peterson...and I think that is stretching it. No way he has over 200 yards and 3 TDs again. (ps...I hate Joey Galloway)

I need a touchdown from Peterson to earn a tie with the Westbrook owner. If that happens I will win the tie-break.

 Are you my sister?I'm up by 24 in a family league against her and all she has left is ADP. :tinfoilhat:ETA: I don't have Galloway however, so I think you might not be her.....but it could all be a ploy.......

I need 40 points from ADP for me to win. If he only gets 30 and Desmond Clark gets over 10 I'm going to be kicking myself for starting Gates over Clark.

league 1: i'm up by 27 points against adp tomorrow (BUT, I also have chester taylor as my last player!)

league 2: i'm up by 7 points but i have adp tomorrow (he has the other peterson going)...and i have chester taylor going tomorrow, too.

i'm looking good in both leagues

Down 28 pts, with Cooley playing now, and I have AP and Vikings D tomorrow. Its doable for sure, but I'm still nervous. Would rather Cooley get 5-10 more points right now.

Down by 46, but have AD, Hester, and Longwell going.

It might get interesting...but I doubt things will swing in my favor.

this thread kind of did a 180 but i'll follow suit

im down 44 and i have adp and mini d left. i think it's doable. i'm not going to hold my breath though...

Only up 8 in a local PPR league. He has Peterson.

I'm not liking my chances. Probably don't deserve to win (and probably wouldn't 9 times outta 10 I'd play him). He put together one of the better redraft teams I've went against in quite awhile).

Up by 39 v. Olsen and ADP.

If I survive, facing the Brady/Moss/Welker owner.

Pats are at home v. Miami.

Any more nor'easters in the forecast?

I am up 29 and own the tiebreaker. So ADP needs 30 points for me to lose....

I am terrified. Dynasty league and in 6 years I have never even won a playoff game. This is it. Please Chicago - play for some pride and put 11 men in the box!

I pretty much need ADP's and Berrian's production to be about even as I have only a 5 point cushion over my opponent. Pretty much means that I can weather about 50 yards rushing with no receptions or TD's if Berrian drops dead before the game.

Should be interesting....

I'm up 29, but also have Longwell going for me. If Chicago can keep ADP to under 170yds and 2 TDs, I should be in good shape and that's with Longwell kicking 2 PATs on those TDs as his only scoring.

Edit: I would have been up 35 if Westy didn't dive at the one.

As long as he doesn't throw 17 interceptions or get tackled in the endzone 8 times for safeties*, I will win.

:)

-QG

* - of course if he manages to score or get 100-yards, more interceptions or safeties would be required.

Up 48 and he has only ADP left. Looks good for me.

His team: romo, rudi, lynch, cj, plax, welker, d lee. Tough week for him. :)

Down 14 points in a 6pts/TD & 1pts/25 yards.

2 TD's and 50 yards or 1 TD with 150 yards.

I figure I'm about a 2-1 underdog.

Apologies for being somewhat off-topic, but what do you guys figure will be the split between Chester Taylor and Adrian Peterson? I haven't heard too much about it recently, but I figured the rookie is healthy now and we'll be getting a prime-time look at the all-ADP show ... then again, this could be wishful thinking since I'm facing Taylor tonight. Thoughts?

Ni?

I'm up against Chester Talyor tonight.... so I need ADP to shine and take a huge majority.

oh FFL Gods..... :lmao: cast your ferocious??? cubbie defense at Adrian Peterson. :lmao:

This one's not going to be as easy. Give me strength football gods. I don't think you can do much to help that pitiful defense.

I need ADP and Taylor to combine for 16 points to win. I'm optimistic. I could also sub Berrian in for Taylor if need be but don't like his chances with Orton at QB.

I'm up by 3 he has Berrian, I have AD and Gould left to play. I think I have a great shot at going to the last money game!! SWEET!!

I am up by 23 and facing this rookie bastage. I am really worried since points for TDs are based on length.. so lets hope they are all one yard.

Standard 10yds/pt and 6pt TD league here.

Playoffs in two money leagues. One I am up by just under 16pts with him having only AD left and me having no one. The other I am down 26pts with AD and Berrian still to go.

My guess is that AD splits the middle and goes for about 120/1, so that I lose both games :lmao:

Up by 22 with Chi Def going tonight. Opponent has Peterson. Here's to Chicago stepping up in tonight's game. :lmao:

well - it's painful to watch when you know he can take it to the house on any play - especially if he gets off early with a biggie wiping out a big chunk of the lead

this day needs to get by

2 Leagues:

1.) Down 19 ... I have ADP, they have nothing.

2.) Down 16 ... I have ADP, they have Longwell.

If there's a prayer circle going on, send me a PM.

I'd be more worried about Adrian Peterson for the Bears than ADP from the Vikings.

We're talking about "Mr. 14 carries for three yards", people. His knee clearly is not healed. Those playing against ADP in PPR leagues are even safer, because he is persona non grata in the aerial game. Why they don't give him three or four dump offs in space each week is beyond me, but that is not how he is used..

Doesn't really matter anyway. Tonight is the Chester Taylor show.

Down 29 in PPR league, have Peterson + Taylor + Longwell to go. Pretty confident at this point. Anxious to see how Adrian bounces back this week, and likewise how Childress will utilize him.

I can take 2 scores(both less than 50yrds long), but less then 100 yrds total

Or 1 score less than 50, and less than 300 yrds

I guess I just need him NOT to go off.

Give the ball to Chester the molester.

 This is a good example of a terrible post. Funny how you left out that ADP went for 120 and 2 scores just 7 days prior??!! ADP was only the leading rusher in the league this year through 11 or 12 weeks and broke the single game rushing record. But ya, you're right, Adrian Peterson on Chicago against the best run D in football over the last 2 years is what people should be worried about. Dude, go fishing somewhere else, your posts are egregiously misinforming.

 Point out the egregiously misinforming part, please. This is not the middle of the season when ADP was healthy and was getting the bulk of the work. At this point in time he has a bum knee, is splitting time (at best), and last week he had one of the worst FF RB performances this century. Shoot the messenger all you want, but ADP of today is not the same player or in the same situation as the one you describe. The player you are talking about is one from the past. He no longer exists.

shoot the messanger? You're not relaying these messages, they are actually your illogical opinions.there is really no point in debating this topic since you really couldnt be more far off with your statements. The misinforming part is telling people that ADP is hurt/not the same because he had 1 bad week.

I repeat, he ran for 120 yards and 2 scores the week before.

HE ISNT HURT! He is a stud. He will go off tonight. end of conversation.

I need 22.7 from Peterson to win. He has done that in 4 of the 11 games he's played this one. One of those games, obviously, was against the Bears. I'd say he has around a 50-60 percent chance of scoring the amount I need.

I repeat, he ran for 120 yards and 2 scores the week before.

Great, so he ran for 123 yards and two TDs in his past two games.

HE ISNT HURT!

If he isn't hurt, then why does he wear a knee brace? Is it a fashion statement?

He is a stud.

....when healthy and getting the bulk of the work. Currently neither apply.
